X’s New Privacy Policy Sparks Outrage

X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, is facing a backlash from users and privacy advocates over its new privacy policy, which will allow it to collect more user data, including biometric information and personal backgrounds.“Based on your consent, we may collect and use your biometric information for safety, security, and identification purposes,” X, the social network that used to be known as Twitter, said in its new policy.
