U.S. Strikes Iranian-Linked Targets in Syria

The Pentagon stated that the airstrikes targeting facilities utilized by the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps and its affiliated groups were conducted in response to recent rocket and drone attacks on American forces.

Early Friday, the United States launched two airstrikes in eastern Syria, targeting facilities used by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps and its affiliated groups. This action was taken in retaliation for a series of recent rocket and drone attacks against American forces in Iraq and Syria.
