NY Governor Tries To Walk Back Saying Republicans Should Leave Her State

New York’s Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul tried to walk back her suggestion that Republicans should leave the state because they don’t share her values.

At a campaign rally on Monday, held for a fellow Democrat in a special congressional election, Hochul thundered “And we are here to say that the era of Trump, and Zeldin and Molinaro, just jump on a bus and head down to Florida where you belong, ok? Get out of town. Get out of town. Because you do not represent our values. You are not New Yorkers. You are not New Yorkers.”
