On the menu today: The fast-moving news cycle is a clumsy administration’s best friend. This weekend, the Biden administration got what it wanted when it announced the construction of a U.S.-taxpayer-funded pier in the Gaza Strip — happy headlines about the U.S. military starting to deliver aid to the Palestinians, many of whom really are desperate.
