5 Bible Verses About Sharing the Word of God

January 31, 2014   |   Category: Blog   |

As Christians, it is important for us to reflect on key messages in the Bible to reiterate our purpose of sharing the Word of God on Earth.

Several verses in Scripture tell us clearly that God expects us to spread His Word to everyone in the world. From the joyous hymns of Psalms to the accounts of the disciples in Matthew and Mark, there can be no doubt that we as Christians have an essential duty to fulfill on earth.

God has been very clear in His Word that He wants us to go forth and spread the Word. As Christians, part of our duty is to try to reach as many people as possible in sharing the word of God. It is important for us to revisit the Bible regularly to reflect on key passages and rediscover our purpose.

Mark 16:15 NKJV

“And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.'”

In this passage, Jesus is talking to His disciples who had not believed Mary Magdalene when she proclaimed His resurrection. He instructs them to go forth, sharing the Word of God and baptizing believers. He elaborates on the power of belief by telling the disciples that believers will be able to cast out demons, speak in new tongues, be immune to poison and heal the sick. Belief is a powerful thing.

Matthew 24:14 NKJV

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”

In Matthew 24, Jesus’ disciples ask Him for the signs of the “close of the age.” Matthew 24:14 is significant for the end times because it tells us that the gospel will be spread throughout the world “and then the end will come.” This will be one last chance for non-believers to hear, believe and repent.

Psalms 96:3 NKJV

“Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.”

Psalm 96:3 is part of a hymn lifting up the Lord and praising Him for all that he has done. Much like we are eager to tell people when we are in love, the same should be true of God. We are so filled with love for Him and the blessings of the Spirit that we cannot keep silent.

Revelation 14:6-7 NKJV

“Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people— saying with a loud voice, ‘Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.'”

This end time’s revelation is another important step in the closing of the age. The angel will be proclaiming the gospel, just as God instructed his believers to share with every nation, tribe, language and people in the world.

Matthew 28:19-20 NKJV

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

In these last two verses of Matthew, Jesus instructs His disciples to carry on the work He began in Israel. They are to go throughout the world, sharing the word of God to “all nations” and spreading the truth of His good works so that everyone may know. The last phrase, “I am with you always, to the end of the age,” can be tremendously comforting to God’s people. No matter where He leads us, we will never have to doubt that His presence is with us.

As we have evidenced, God has instructed us several times to spread His Word throughout the land. We have a chance to bring others to Him by explaining biblical prophecies and helping lead them to eternal bliss in Heaven. At Endtime Ministries, we are passionate about spreading the Word as He commanded us. You can support our mission in following the Lord’s command by donating to aid our ministry in sharing the word of God.

I ask of HIM whom calls not of my own, being disobedient but called to obedience by CHRIST our LORD, for all I know is not mine but GOD, to be blessed, are not all, do not all breath and possess life in their being, to be anointed, is it not to be chosen by the process of election which only comes from GOD, now if I speak the words I’m told is it not me, of course it’s not me, for GOD has Mercy and Compassion on whom HE Wills, for whom am I but man, how can the creation deny the CREATOR, am I stronger than HE, I speak as mankind on this matter, certainly not, for I have nothing and am nothing but with HIM I have all things, is HE not part of me, as I am part of HIM, to what matter or sense do I come to when it’s not my understanding, for the ONE whom abides knows all things, to be shown and taught by GOD is what and all I do and know, for as HIS ways are Higher, now mine are as well for what GOD gives is Eternal, now I’ve been given all things in the SPIRIT, as GOD equips me with all the tools a Man of GOD needs to Fulfill the MIGHTY WILL of GOD, I’ve been reaching out as much as possible but to no avail as of yet, all deny me, but now I’m just the messenger, whom they really deny is my GOD and yours, what I do is HIS Good Pleasure, but it’s still not me, for just as HE gives all things is me than not actually HIM that works in me, I don’t even know all that I say at times, now this I know is HIM, as HE has predestined me to die for HIM, I’ve been given the Gifts of GOD to wake and shake the church of soul and spirit by the Authority of GOD as HE Commands to Call HIS Children to Glory, for GOD is about to Close the Book of Life to the Saving of our Souls, this is not of me like I’ve been saying, it is a message from Thee AMEN, for GOD speaks and always has, for HOLY is our GOD in JESUS CHRIST our LORD.

John 3:16 ” For GOD so loved the world, that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” This is the best news ever to share! It’s a great blessing to recieve GOD’s holy word!!! Glorify the father for his name’s sake. Holy Holy Holy is his name! I love Elohim, Yeshua Hamashiah, and the Ruach Hakodesh! The Lord GOD of Abraham.

That’s great! You can definitely find out more about Him in the Bible (you can start in the book of John and I personally recommend the New King James version). My email is munchkie123@gmail.com if you want to chat, ask questions, or have prayer requests. Have a good days and God bless!

  4. Amen.

These verses convicted and reminded me about our purpose here on this earth. It is very, very easy for the cares of life to sneak in, weigh you down, and distract from what God has called us to do and be.

  5. Do the Scriptures mention anything about Murdering people that refuse to be (The Catholic version of) Baptized?
