Will Children be a Part of the Rapture?

By Irvin Baxter

Question: Leanna from Missouri called to ask Irvin, “What happens to babies and small children at the time of the rapture?”

Answer: First of all, God is not unjust. He is a just, compassionate and fair God. And there is no way God is going to send a child to hell that has never reached to where they can hear the Gospel and either accept it or reject it.

When God destroyed the world in the flood everyone was killed men, women and CHILDREN except for Noah and his family. I would think that when Christ returns for the rapture all unsaved adults with children will go through the Trib. Period? Hope I’m wrong.

I am in total agreement with you. God did destroy men, women and children during the Great Flood, only eight human beings were saved.
Then came the time when God commanded Israel to utterly destroy the Hitties, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; they shall save nothing alive that breathed.
I’m sure this included women and children. Unfortunately, the world today’d call it genocide, God calls it obedience. Who are we to judge God, He does as He pleases, not capriciously, but because He’s holy and sovereign.
