Our Only Hope 10/20/2024

Male announcer: Previously on
“The Endtime Show.”
Dave Robbins: But the Bible says
that’s on one hand, but they
that do know their God–during
these times when it all starts
to come down to a crunch, and we
can feel that now, we’ve got to
realize Jesus is our only hope.
Number one, I’m not looking to
the government.
I’m not looking to the next
great investment that I can make
to get me to be a billionaire
and then I’m finally gonna be
able to just relax through
the end time.
No, the only hope of every
single person is Jesus Christ.

Dave: The Bible is not gonna
prophesy two or three different
types or two or three different
messages of revival.
It’s impossible that there would
ever be a revival ever again
outside of Jesus Christ, the
true church of Jesus Christ.
Jesus said, “Except you believe
that I am He, you will die in
your sins.”
There are people now that are
teaching, “Well, there are many
ways to heaven.”
That is not a
scriptural teaching.
The scriptures teach that the
Jews as a whole will accept
Jesus as their Messiah only when
they see the nail prints in his
hands and that–the wound
in his side.
And this occurs when he descends
on the Mount of Olives.
Zachariah 12:10, “And I will
pour upon the house of David,
and upon the inhabitants of
Jerusalem, the spirit of grace
and of supplications: and they
shall look upon me whom they
have pierced, and they shall
mourn for him as one mourneth
for his only son, and shall be
in bitterness for him, as one
that is in bitterness for
his firstborn.”
Then Zachariah chapter 13 verse
6 says, “And one shall say unto
him, What are these wounds in
thine hands?
Then he shall answer, These are
those with which I got in the
hou–I was wounded in the house
of my friends.”
So that is when they will
understand who Jesus really is.
He will have–and he’s going to
have mercy upon them.
The Bible says, “When the
fullness of the Gentiles be come
in, all of Israel will
be saved.”
That’s Romans 11:25 and 26.
So if Jews are to be
participants in this end time
revival, and the Bible
prophesies that they will be,
Revelation chapter 7, it will
only be as they participated in
the apostolic era revival,
remember, in a church of Jews
and Gentiles combined, and
it’s gonna be a multitude,
and they’ll make a number out of
every kindred people tongue and
nation, right?
If God did it once,
could he do it again?
Do you think God’s powerful
enough to do it again?
I think it is.
Can you feel the Spirit as I’m
talking to you right now?
When you get to talking about
end time revival, man, you’re
talking God’s language now
’cause God is all about revival.
He’s all about the church
thriving and growing and new
people coming in and people
being prepared for that way when
he comes back and blows–and the
angel blows the sound of a
trumpet, then he will gather
together all of them unto him.
It’s Matthew chapter 24
verse 29 through 31.
The gathering together unto him.
And so we’re talking about
the Rapture.
Very, very important.
When the bride will be married
to the bridegroom, then we’ll
have the marriage supper of the
Lamb in the sky.
I wanna be prepared for
that event.
So I wanna have revival.
I am a soul winner.
I am an evangelist.
That’s the goal of the church
in the end time.
If you get in this vein, I’m not
worried about the Antichrist or
the world government.
The Bible says, “Take no thought
what you shall eat, drink,
or wear.
Your heavenly Father knows you
have need of these things.
Seek ye first, the kingdom of
God, his righteousness, all this
stuff will be added unto you.”
I do participate and I do vote
and I am patriotic to America,
but my goal is not to look to
the government for any kind of
salvation or to take care
of my needs.
That’s never going to happen.
My goal is to make sure I wanna
do what Jesus wants me to do.
I’ve turned my life over
to him years ago.
I got that settled and I’m
preaching and teaching the
gospel of the kingdom of God
because the end time is
now, folks.
We’re racing the Rapture and
I’ve got to make sure I’m ready
to go and I wanna get as many
people as I can ready to go.
When Daniel 11:32 said, “The
people that do know their God
shall be strong, and do
exploits,” it did not refer to a
people that does not even know
the name of their Lord, but
rather to that people who
understand that Jesus is the
first and the last, the Alpha
and Omega, the beginning and
the end.
Hallelujah, surely this is a
prophetic picture of God’s
church in the end time.
And the Bible says the gates of
hell shall not prevail against
the church.
What does that mean?
Gates aren’t gonna jump off a
hill and run down the street,
tackling people and killing
people that are in the church.
No, it means the church is gonna
be aggressively pulling people
out of hell and the gates of
hell will not be able to prevail
against it.
The church will be on the move
mighty not a weak anemic
organization, but it’s gonna be
moving through the earth and
it’s gonna be having revival
in the end time, okay?
Now, you thought everybody was
gonna be on the run, right?
It’s not how it’s gonna happen.
The Bible says, “During the time
of the Antichrist they that do
know their God will be strong
and do exploits and they that
understand among the people
shall instruct many.”
You say, “Well, what about
all the persecution?
What about great tribulation?
And what about all of that?”
I understand all of that and
there will be some that
are persecuted.
Jesus prophesied about it
in Matthews 24.
But you got to understand death
is a door–for those that are
born again, death is a doorway
to a much better place.
My father-in-law, Irvin Baxter,
has passed away, but he’s in a
much better place than
I am right now.
I can still cut my finger and it
hurt for days and takes a while
to heal, or I can still, you
know, things happen and I gotta
go, I gotta, you know, I get
hungry, I get thirsty, I get
tired, I can stub my toe.
I’m still in a physical form.
My father-in-law is with Jesus.
So he looked at death as just a
doorway to a much better place.
So end time, end time revival,
that’s where we’re at.
And it’s always been God’s plan.
Another glimpse of the plan of
God for our time, it can be
obtained by studying the pattern
of the move of God throughout
this church age.
Think about it.
Some of the plan we may not
understand fully, but one thing
is certain, God has always
followed a pattern.
This church began with that
glorious outpouring of the
Holy Ghost on the
Day of Pentecost.
Go read it in Acts chapter 2.
Throughout the book of Acts, we
read of salvation, conversions,
power, glory, many,
many healings,
the gifts of the
Spirit, and revival.
So we’ve got to return.
If you’re not in full on
evangelism mode, we’ve got to
return to the pattern set for us
in the book of Acts.
Somewhere between the 1st
century and in the 4th century
AD, many valuable things were
lost to the seeds of apostasy.
Undoubtedly, some of the first
things that slipped away from
the church were the gifts of the
Spirit and genuine
Holy Ghost worship.
Then another 50 years passed and
divine healing was no longer
prevalent and holiness standards
began to decline and soon there
were those who opposed receiving
the Holy Ghost like
the apostles.
And by the time the early part
of the 4th century arrived, the
devil had almost complete
control of the majority of what
was so-called Christianity.
We went off into what’s called
the Dark Ages, you know.
The apostolic doctrinal
teachings of God and salvation
were changed.
And from here, it was a downward
plunge into the darkness of the
Middle Ages.
Spiritual darkness was prevalent
during the Dark Ages, 500 to
1500 AD and a few
people–imagine this, very few
people on the earth even
had Bibles to read.
Even now you can buy a Bible
for, you know, three or four or
five bucks.
Even fewer understood
what they read.
The course of the church had
traveled from the pinnacle of
the apostolic power to the
lowest part of the curve, right?
In the midst of this gross
darkness, the Spirit of the Lord
quickened a scripture to the
heart of a man named
Martin Luther.
And which, remember, he made
famous, “The just shall live by
faith,” and in his heart, he
peered out of the darkness and
began to grope his way back
towards that faith that was once
delivered to the saints.
And it was merely the first wave
splashing against the shores of
spiritual darkness and they were
striving for that spiritual
pinnacle that one time belonged
to the people of God.
When you read the scripture,
look at all they did.
Their shadows were
healing people.
How do we get back to that?
Well, from that point, Martin
Luther on there seemed to be no
stopping this incoming tide
towards the original apostolic
power for which all true
believers long for.
After the recovery of
justification by faith, it was
the–it was like a reforging of
the tenets of holiness by
John Wesley.
And then came another wave
in the ministry
of Charles G. Finney.
And it was reaffirming the
personal responsibility of every
human being as to
whom he will serve.
Each wave that
crashed the shores,
they reached further, each one
pushing back the shores of
darkness a little bit more.
It’s called The Age of
Enlightenment.
And then came that mighty
outpouring of the Holy Ghost at
the Azusa Street
revivals in 1906.
Pentecost reclaimed another wave
had come in ever stronger even
farther, reaching always for
that fullness of
apostolic power.
Soon afterward–now, you wanna
read about apostolic power?
Go read the book of Acts, go
read the New Testament from the
book of Acts onward.
Now, you can read about
apostolic power.
Well, soon afterward, God began
to reveal the truths taught by
Jesus and the apostles,
early 1900s.
It seemed for a while that, you
know, surely apostolic days had
returned here, right
in America.
It seemed that the last wave had
rolled in, but somehow the
results of the book of Acts just
weren’t all the way there yet.
There was still a–it almost
seemed like a severe power
shortage, right?
Things were they were
accomplished, but it was just
slow, okay.
Well, you know, the Bible says,
don’t despise the day of small
things, but it seemed that there
was so, so much to do and it
seemed so short a time,
it was kind of we’re in
molasses, right?
This handsaw seemed so slow and
the old bracing bit appeared to
be so outdated.
So even now we hear the voices
of present day Reformers crying.
Well, what we need to bring is
end time revival is the power
tools, right,
some of the things that the
levers that they had in the
early church–God send us one
more wave bearing the full
restoration of the gifts
of the Spirit.
And the first things lost by the
first church are the last things
to be recovered by this
last church.
From the pinnacle of apostolic
power to the darkness of
spiritual apostasy to end time
Holy Ghost revival–
certainly there has been a
pattern, God’s pattern.
The time for revival is now,
and the thing is, the key–
many of us have seen revivals
and experienced revivals
throughout time.
I started in this when I was a
9-year-old kid.
I’ve seen great times of
revival, but we can’t let our
faith waiver in these end times.
What a travesty that would be.
We’ve got to believe that God
can and that he will bring
you through.
Now is not the time–the Bible
says God has not given us a
spirit of fear, but of love,
power, and of a sound mind.
But I still know Christians that
are scared, that are fearful.
And I’m like, you’re missing
something here.
God hath not given us a
spirit of fear.
And so I’ve got to get over the
fear mode because the church is
supposed to be in full-on
evangelism mode in the end time.
And so we’ve gotta make sure–
what’s the church’s role
in the end time?
Evangelism, evangelism, and God
is gonna help us with this.
And that’s why it’s important to
understand the prophecies of the
Bible ’cause once you understand
them and realize what’s going
on, it really helps to take the
fear factor out of some of this.
And we’ll talk about some of
this on the back side of the
break here.
So don’t touch that dial.

Dave: Many preachers were
preaching that there was gonna
be a great revival in these last
days long before the official
end time revival program was
launched, right?
I mean, I do not believe in the
end time revival because of a
program, we do need to have
processes in place and try
different things.
And I mean, and you know, my
brother-in-law Scott Sistrunk is
over North American missions and
they set up 200–I don’t know–
260 some churches last year.
Yeah, we do need certain
processes put in place and we
need a plan, but it’s not the
next great program that’s gonna
bring revival.
I wanna make sure we
understand that.
I do believe that in many cases
this effort has fanned the
flames of desire and has
cultivated faith as long as we
understand that it’s going to be
God that brings revival.
Remember he that cometh unto God
must first believe.
Without faith it’s impossible
to please God.
So I don’t want it to rock our
faith when we try a program and
then some–I mean, I’ve
done a–I’ve been to
prophecy conferences.
I’ve been to prophecy
conferences in a little church
in the backwoods of nowhere
and signed up 40 or 50
Bible studies.
And then I’ve been to a big
giant church and signed up 12.
You see what I’m saying?
It’s just–you can’t let
something rock your faith,
because our job is just to
do–I can only do my best.
That’s all I can do.
I want revival, I’m asking God
to help us, I do my best, but
God’s got to breathe on it
here and there.
I don’t understand the situation
in every church, but I just do
my best and God breathes on it,
and over time, revival happens.
You’re sowing seeds and the
harvest starts to come in.
The worst thing you can do is
don’t sow any seeds and let it
rock your faith, don’t do that.
If you’re all in on revival,
God will help you.
Remember, the sin of the
children of Israel after God had
miraculously brought them out
through the wilderness and to
the entrance of the Promised
Land, their sin was unbelief and
it kept those that
were–what was it?
I think 20 years old and above?
It kept them out of
the Promised Land.
They were not allowed to go in.
Only those 19 years old and
down, the age of accountability,
only they were allowed to go
into the Promised Land.
And God help us not to fill the
role of those ten spies.
And they said, “The walls
are too high.”
I think there were two–
Joshua and Caleb.
They were allowed to go in
because they come back and said,
“Let’s go.”
But there were ten spies that
they said, “Well, the walls are
too high.
The giants are too big.
Certainly it would be wonderful
if we could possess the land,
but we’re like grasshoppers
to them.”
And I hear the ringing words of
God himself say, “Ye have
limited the Holy One of Israel.
Ye have said, ‘Can God prepare a
table in the wilderness?'”
God can do anything.
I’m gonna get on the God train
because that’s what’s gonna get
us through these end times.
And if you’re on the God train,
then you’re gonna be on a great
end time revival train.
That’s where we’re going.
So I hear, you know, I hear
the answer come back.
Well, “Where sin doth abound,
grace doth much more bound.”
The darker the night, the
brighter the light, right?
And it’s pretty dark right now,
but I’m telling you, the church
is the light of the world.
We’re the salt of the earth.
God put us here to go out into
the world, get people in Satan’s
kingdom and bring them into
God’s kingdom.
That’s the role of the church.
Jesus said in Mark 11:24,
“Therefore I say unto you, what
things soever ye desire, when
you pray, believe that you’ll
receive them, and ye shall
have them.”
So my faith is set.
We’re gonna have revival and
just think about prophecies,
they foretell a great end
time revival.
Revelation chapter 7, the end
time revival chapter.
Remember the prophecies always
come to pass, but God’s gonna do
it through the church.
Think about Revelation chapter
7, there’s the 144,000 of the
remnant of Jews that will be
saved during the end time and
that’s gonna be redeemed and
they’re gonna sing the song of
Moses and the Lamb.
So this means that they’re gonna
be born again Christians.
Then Revelation–John says, I
turn–in Revelation 7:9–and he
says–he describes another group
of people who are gonna be part
of this great end time revival.
He said, “After this I beheld,
and, lo, a great multitude, that
no man could number, out of
all,” not just Jews, but out “of
all nations, and kindreds, and
peoples, and tongues.
And they stood before the
throne, and before the Lamb, and
they were clothed with white
robes, and palms in their hands:
And they cried with a loud
voice, and said, Salvation to
our God which sitteth on the
throne, and unto the Lamb.”
So there’s no specific number of
people mentioned in this verse,
but they’re not from the
12 tribes of Israel.
They are from all nations and
peoples and all tongues.
So when John was shown the
second group of people, the
elder who was speaking said,
“Hey, John, what are these who
are arrayed in white robes?”
And in essence, John says–and
he says, “Where did they
come from?”
And John says, “I don’t know.
Thou knowest.”
And the elder looked at John and
said, “These are they that came
out of great tribulation, and
have washed their robes, and
made them white in the
blood of the Lamb.”
That’s Revelation 7:13 and 14.
So the only way our robes can be
white is if we wash them in the
blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ.
These people were redeemed and
they had experienced the
salvation of Jesus Christ and
have washed their robes in the
blood of the Lamb.
So this passage is–it foretells
a great revival out of all
nations that no man can number.
The book of Acts, they had great
revivals, 3000, 5000, I mean
almost 10,000 conversions
recorded in the book of Acts.
But John saw a multitude no
man could number.
The greatest time of revival the
world’s ever seen is ahead of
us, folks.
And I wanna be in that.
I wanna be help.
I wanna be working with the Lord
to help facilitate that revival.
Now, God’s gonna do it, but man,
do I wanna be–you wanna be in
the will of God?
Be a revivalist, be an
evangelist, be a soul winner.
That’s the will of God.
And already John, here in
Revelation 7, he saw the 144,000
Jews who are gonna be saved
during the end time.
A remnant of Jews.
Now he is being shown a massive
Gentile revival that will take
place during the great
tribulation.
Many commentaries on the book of
Revelation, they focus on the
Antichrist and on the false
prophet and all the things that
Satan is endeavoring to do in
the end time, world government,
world religion, mark of the
beast in Revelation 13.
But they sometimes skip over
Revelation 7 that prophesies a
great end time revival for the
same times.
And that’s Romans 5:20 says,
“Where sin abounds, grace doth
much more abound.”
You say, “Well, there’s no way
that could happen in America.
I mean, America, I mean, we
just, you know, we’re just
flying apart at the seams and
we’ve got this–the LGBTQIA and
they’re pushing to allow men in
women’s sports and, you know, a
grown man to dress as a woman
and go into a, you know, just
say he’s a woman and we’ll put a
grown man in a man’s prison.
He says he’s a woman.
So we’re going to put him in a
women’s prison and then we’ll
get upset when some of the
female prisoners
become pregnant.
It makes no sense.
A lot of what is happening in
America makes zero sense.
I get it.
It’s a big harvest
field, isn’t it?
There’s a lot of people that
absolutely need Jesus Christ.
We all need him.
I need him.
I’ve been in church for many,
many, many years and I recognize
my need of Jesus Christ
every single day.
I can’t make it one day
without him.
So could it happen in America?
Absolutely.
2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people
which are called by my name,
will humble themselves, and
pray, seek my face, and,” very
important, “turn from their
wicked ways; then will I hear
from heaven, I’ll forgive their
sin, and I will heal
their land.”
You know, by now it’s obvious
that what we need is the–well,
actually, the needed spiritual
leadership, that’s probably not
gonna come from your political
leaders, right?
It’s almost laughable.
Well, where, then, can we look
for spiritual leadership, right?
Well, God said, “I will choose
you men after my own heart that
will feed you with knowledge and
I will choose you pastors after
mine own heart that will feed
you with knowledge
and understanding.”
Let me ask you this:
Are there any true men and
women of God left?
Is there?
Are they all just trying to
produce the biggest
congregations and then say,
“Well, our church is a success.
We’ve got 20,000 members”?
Is anyone in that church saved?
It’s a big question.
We’ve gotta ask it.
Are there any true men and
women of God left?
Are there any left that are
not for sale,
who will preach the whole Bible,
even if it costs them
their lives?
Eleven of the twelve of the
first apostles were martyred.
John was exiled on the
Isle of Patmos.
If there are any out there, now
is the time to stand up.
Tomorrow, it’s gonna
be too late.
And preachers, you are
America’s only hope.
Think about that.
When you stand in pulpits and
you minister, I’m asking you,
please attend a prayer room.
Pray until your hearts burn with
a red hot message straight
from God.
Please, if you’ve got an
opportunity to get into a
pulpit, I’m asking you, please
do not give a speech.
I’m asking you, go to the prayer
room, pray, get a message from
God, and go deliver
that message.
We need you.
Preach with conviction
and compassion.
Don’t bow to peer pressure.
We’re in the end times.
We’re just prior to the Second
Coming of Jesus Christ.
This thing is wrapping up.
I need somebody who will preach
to me that is trying to get me
to heaven.
Not that’s trying to just be,
you know, appeal to my every
want or aspiration or dream
or what I think.
If it’s biblical, preach it.
You say, “But there may be
some repercussions.”
You’re preaching God’s Word.
Let God deal with that.
You think God’s not strong
enough that he can’t deal with
some stuff?
The people that love the truth
are longing to hear you preach a
message from God.
They’re so disillusioned with
this rampant–let’s call it
religious prostitution,
’cause that’s what it is.
It’s bought and paid for.
And I know some don’t
wanna hear.
I get it.
But the ones that matter, the
ones who love God and who love
the truth and are starving for
true men and women of God who
will set the trumpet to their
lips and proclaim a message that
they got from God in a red hot
prayer meeting–
and when the final history of
America is written, is it gonna
record the destruction of the
people of God who did not like
to retain God in their
knowledge?
Is it gonna speak of people that
apologize for acknowledging God
in making the center of
our nation?
I want a great spiritual
apostolic revival in these
end times.
The Bible prophesies it’s gonna
happen, but I’ve got to make
sure I’m on board with
that, right?
That’s the role of the church
in the end time.
I want it and I know you want
it, and we need to go out and
convert as many people in this
world to make sure they’re
prepared for the soon coming
of Jesus Christ.
The God of heaven is coming back
before it look very long to
establish his kingdom
here on the earth.
And we’ve got to prepare–
I’ve gotta make sure I’m ready.
I gotta make sure my wife and
my kids are ready, my
granddaughters, but I’ve also
gotta make sure as many people
as I can get my hands on.
Do you understand the gospel of
the kingdom of God?
Because God’s coming back soon
and I’ve got to make sure that
you’re ready to go.
Let’s proclaim the gospel and
have great revival in these
end times.
