Looking Unto Jesus – 12/15/2024
Male announcer: Previously on “The Endtime Show.”
Dave Robbins: There are so many people today–all the world
government, the World Health Organization, World Trade
Organization, the International Criminal Court–all of that
stuff is humanitarian because they don’t want anybody to rely
on anything–a deity, anything–other than, they
want–in times of crisis, they want you to look to the
world government.
But my job as a Christian minister is to put Jesus Christ,
his soon-coming kingdom on your radar.
♪♪♪
Dave: So, what you should be preparing–yeah, a lot of
people spend a lot of time on their physical body; I probably
should spend more time on mine.
But, what goes into eternity is your spirit man.
What relationship does your spirit have with Jesus Christ?
So, anybody who is a Christian, they are looking forward to the
return of Jesus Christ because I’m going to go to be with the
one that I love more than anything, and I’m gonna spend
eternity with him.
I’m part of the bride of Christ.
Again, to get–to become part of the bride of
Christ, you’ve got to be born again.
Again, Jesus told Nicodemus, in John 3, “Except a man is
born again, can never see the kingdom of God.”
So I need to be born again.
Again, go to endtime.com/reborn to–you can read the entire
plan of salvation.
It gives you all the verses, everything, and tie all the
pieces together to make sure you have an opportunity to be
born again.
And so, the revealing of Jesus Christ is going to be the
absolute best day a Christian has ever experienced.
We’re gonna get to see Jesus face to face.
Our eyes will physically behold him.
The revealing of Jesus Christ– so, let’s spend some time on
that, the revelation of Jesus Christ.
So, let’s go to the book of Revelation, okay?
The revelation–the book of Revelation–it gives
many accounts.
My lesson that I’m gonna be teaching at my prophecy
conferences next year is “Understanding the book
of Revelation.”
I have pastor friends that have told me, “I
don’t touch the book of Revelation.
I don’t know anything about that.
I can’t explain all the beasts and the visions and all
that stuff.
And so I–that–Dave, that’s why you’re here doing a
prophecy conference.”
So–and I’ve done–I tried–I think–I don’t know how many
weekends I’ve traveled this year–it was crazy–and I
loved every second of it, me and my wife.
But, the book of Revelation, it gives many accounts of the
Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
It’s the revealing–or the unveiling–of Jesus Christ;
it’s what the book is really all about.
So, Revelation 1:1 says, “The Revelation of Jesus Christ,
which God gave unto him–” to John–“to show unto his
servants the things which must shortly come to pass.”
So, the word translated “revelation,” it’s the word,
the Greek word apokalypsis, which means to reveal.
The book of Revelation is devoted to dramatizing and
telling the story of how the Second Coming is going to
happen, events leading up to the Second Coming, over and over
and over again.
Again, the First and Second Coming are the two most–the
Bible is centered around those two events.
The Old Testament leads us up to, as a rule, the
First Coming.
There are many prophecies concerning the Second Coming,
but the rest of it pretty much leads us to the Second Coming
and the great White throne and the Millennial reign and things
like that.
So these are the two–really, the two central topics in the
Bible–or, I should say, central events.
The Second Coming of Jesus is the crowning moment of all of
human history.
Jesus Christ is gonna return to the earth, put down the thrones
of men–no more–human government, done away with.
And he’s going to establish his long-promised kingdom of God.
And Revelation tells several accounts of Jesus’s Second
Coming from different angles.
So, let’s cover as many of these angles as we can with the time
that we have left here.
The sixth seal is the Second Coming.
I know people teach that the Rapture happened in Revelation
chapter 4:1, and then, you know–and, but–and then, you
know, the church isn’t mentioned until Revelation 19
and all on down through here.
Okay, we gotta get over some of these humps, guys.
The Rapture, Marriage Supper of the Lamb–go to Revelation 19,
and read an account–a chronological account–of
what happens.
Rapture–were gathered– from out of the grave and from
all across the earth–we’re gathered
to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
That’s the Rapture; we’re– we’re gathered to the Marriage
Supper of the Lamb in the sky.
Revelation 19, look at it.
And we go straight to fight on behalf of Israel at the Battle
of Armageddon.
That event is told at least four times in the book of Revelation.
So, the sixth seal–this is an account of the Rapture, Second
Coming, and the Battle of Armageddon; it’s the sixth
seal account.
So, it says, “And I beheld when he opened the sixth seal, lo,
there was a great earthquake.”
Now, remember when I–in the previous segment, I talked about
Matthew chapter 24; Jesus said, “Immediately after the
tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon
shall not give her light, stars will fall from heaven.”
That’s what Jesus said would happen immediately after the
tribulation of those days.
Okay, John comes along, he sees a vision of future events, and
he said, “I beheld when he opened the sixth seal, and, lo,
there was a great earthquake; the sun became black as
sackcloth of hair; the moon became as blood; And the stars
fell from heaven, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs,
when she is shaken of a mighty wind.”
This is the exact same event, in Revelation 6, that Jesus talked
about in Matthew chapter 24, same thing.
So–but some would say, “Oh, no, the Rapture happened in
Revelation 4:1.”
That is not an account of the Rapture, okay?
Because Jesus said, this event here happens immediately after
the tribulation of those days.
It’s the same thing he talked about there in Matthew 24.
So there are a total of seven seals; this is the skeletal
structure of the book of Revelation–seals, trumpets,
and vials–seven seals, seven trumpets, seven vials.
The sixth seal reveals Jesus’s Second Coming as happening with
a great earthquake, sun turns black, moon goes to–turns to
blood, stars fall from heaven.
The Bible says, “And the heaven departed as a–” you know, you
ever seen a scroll rolled together?
Well, the Bible says, “And the heaven departed as a scroll when
it was rolled together; and every mountain and island was
moved out of their places.
The kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the
chief captains, the mighty men, every bondman, and every free
man, they hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks and the
mountains; And said to them, ‘Fall upon us, and hide us from
the face of him that sits on the throne, and the wrath of
the Lamb.'”
Now, God forbid you’re one of these individuals.
You wanna be one of the ones that have already been gathered
to be with him.
And, though it’s gonna be a wonderful time for God’s people
who are caught up to meet him, it’s gonna be the most horrific
day some people have ever experienced for those who have
chose to live in rebellion and refuse to give God their lives
or believe and obey the gospel.
Now, this needs to be preached; some people–because, you
know–and we need to talk about heaven and hell–because some
people don’t talk about hell anymore because they’re afraid
they’ll offend somebody and they’ll run them off and they–
they don’t want to attend my church anymore.
Listen, if you have a pastor that will stand in a pulpit and
say, “Look, there is a hell coming,” and he scares you into
an altar, thank God for that man.
You can–out into eternity, you can hug his neck and say, “Thank
you for teaching me about a place I did not want to go to.”
I know that I will find–I told Irvin Baxter, a few months–my
father-in-law Irvin Baxter–a few months before he passed, at
his 75th birthday party that we had for him, I said, “There will
be a few people that–when we get to heaven, I’m gonna worship
Jesus for a billion years.
But, at some point out into eternity, I’m gonna look up a
few people and say–and hug their neck and say, ‘Thank you
so much because you told me the truth without fear or favor.
You didn’t hold anything back.
You told me what it took–and you helped me get to heaven.'”
And so I’m not gonna go–I’m not–I will–I refuse to
attend a church that will not teach on heaven and that will
not teach on hell and that will not teach on sin.
And that will not teach the gospel of the kingdom of God
without fear or favor.
Because that’s how you get people to hell.
The Bible says that, “He chose by the foolishness of preaching
to save them that believe.”
Preaching can wake you up out of your hypnosis that the enemy has
you in and set your feet on a path towards God.
A preacher can do that if he’s been to the prayer room, if he’s
prayed his heart hot with a message straight from God, and
he gets up and delivers that message.
Now, I don’t know if a guy should get up in every sermon,
just hammer the message of hell.
He needs to teach and preach what God’s given him.
And that’s how you get people to heaven because God is going to
give a minister a message.
A sermon is almost like a speech.
But, when you–have you ever heard anybody give a message
from God, an anointed minister, man or woman?
I’ve heard some anointed women get up and give a message, and–
but an anointed minister, man or woman, get in a pulpit and give
an anointed message, and you say, “Oh, my goodness, God
is talking.”
Matter of fact, my wife and I backslid years ago, back when we
were in our early 30s, we backslid for two years, out
of the church.
Horrible situation.
The night we came back to God, a woman minister was in the
pulpit and ministered to us.
I knew her.
My mother-in-law, Judy Baxter, used to travel around the
country with her and sing, and she would preach.
And I knew her, and I went in there, and I thought, “Nope, I’m
not going tonight because that lady is gonna teach on people
that run from God and died and went to hell.
And that’s my situation I’m in, and I don’t want to go tonight.
I’m–she’s gonna scare me to death.”
My wife was like, “Oh, Dave, come on, let’s just go to church
this, you know, we’re already here.”
Well, we went to church, and guess what the lady did?
She read news articles about people that had run from God,
died away, and went to hell.
And I thought, “Oh, my goodness.”
But she said, “God spoke to me, and said, ‘If you don’t get
right tonight, he’s gonna take you this week.'”
Well, I almost ripped the pew up, getting up out of there and
getting to the altar.
But, guess what?
That’s one of the ladies that I will find out in eternity,
and I’m gonna hug her neck and say, “Thank you so much because
you pulled me out of where I was at and put me back in the
kingdom of God.”
So, I’m telling you, there’s nothing more important than what
I’m talking about right now: the soon-coming kingdom of God and
the return of Jesus Christ.
I’ve got to be ready for that.
Everything within me has to be ready for the
Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
Doug Norvell: The Roman government controlled the world,
so many people were looking for a different Messiah, a
rescuing Messiah.
♪♪♪
Doug: Remember the story of the woman at the well, “The woman
saith unto him, ‘I know that Messiah cometh,
which is called Christ.’
And Jesus said unto her, ‘I that speak unto thee am he.'”
Jesus very clearly stated that he was God and that he was
the Messiah.
We’re even more blessed because we haven’t seen those things,
but yet we believe.
When Jesus cried out, “My God, my God, why hast thou
forsaken me?”
he knew every one of these prophecies had to be fulfilled.
He said, “It is finished.”

Dave: There’s nothing wrong with talking about the mercy and the
love of God, I love preaching and teaching on that.
But many times we fail to preach about God’s judgment.
Those who reject Christ will receive of the wrath of God.
Revelation 6:17 says, “For the great day of his wrath has come;
and who shall be able to stand?”
I’m gonna be in heaven, I’m gonna be with the Lord.
I don’t care what I have to do.
And you–everybody listening to me has the opportunity to do
that as well.
And End Time Ministries is here.

My life is devoted to this, and that’s what Endtime Ministries
is here for.
We gauge success–you know how we will gauge the success of
this ministry?
When we go to heaven, how many people are in line behind us
that we helped to get there.
That’s how we gauge success.
And, I can tell you, it’s gonna be tens and hundreds of
thousands of people, if not millions, I’d love it for to
be billions.
We’ll see what God does before this thing wraps up.
The Bible says, “People will run and hide in the rocks and
mountains and cry for them to fall on them, to hide them from
the wrath of God.”
And, so, the sixth seal, that’s the Second Coming.
The seventh trumpet is the Second Coming.
Now we’re way over there in Revelation chapter 11.
So, we went Revelation 6, now we’re over in Revelation
chapter 11.
The seventh trumpet account, which is the Second Coming,
that’s found in Revelation.
And, when we go to John, he says this, “And the seventh angel
sounded; and there were voices in heaven, saying, ‘The kingdoms
of this world–‘” no more human government.
“‘The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our lord,
and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.'”
So, it will be the transition from human government, the
kingdoms of this world, to the promised kingdom of God from
that point on, and God will reign forever and ever.
The Bible says, “And the four and twenty elders, which sat
before God on their seats, they fell upon their faces, and they
worshiped God, Saying, ‘We give thee thanks, O Lord God
Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou
hast taken to thee thy great power, and has reigned.'”
So this event is also referred to back in Daniel, it’s Daniel
chapter 7, and verse 9, he said, “I beheld till the thrones were
cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit.”
Daniel saw the casting down of the thrones of human government
and God sitting on his throne.
And it’s the realization of the prayer that many have prayed,
“Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in
heaven,” right?
Have you ever prayed that?
And the Bible says, “And the nations are angry
and thy wrath has come.”
Now, here it is.
There’s an account of the wrath in Revelation 6; now, here in
Revelation 11, we’ve got another account of the wrath.
But the wrath of God only happens one time in the future,
but there are different accounts of that in the book
of Revelation.
But, if you don’t understand that, and you try to teach that
the wrath–the book of Revelation is written in
chronological order–you’re gonna have the wrath of God
happening at least four times in the future.
That’s why my lesson next year is gonna be “Understanding the
Book of Revelation” because once you unlock some of these
books, oh, my goodness, you can get away from the fear factor of
endtime Bible prophecy and get into evangelism mode, okay?
A lot of people in the church today are in fear mode.
“I just, I don’t want to go through any time.”
But, once you understand prophecy, it will ignite you
for evangelism.
And that’s what Endtime Ministries is trying to do.
A lot of people teach prophecy as fear, but we don’t.
I’m at the tip of the sword on this stuff; I teach about this
stuff every day and on the weekends.
And I’m not afraid of it.
The Bible says, “Greater is he that’s in me than he that’s in
the world.”
“God hath not given us a spirit of fear, but of love, power, and
a sound mind.”
How in the world does that work?
I understand the Word of God, and I’ve got the Spirit of God
living inside of me.
So I’m energized; let’s go win the world; it’s awesome.
But I don’t dread the end times.
I’m looking forward to it because I understand
the prophecies.
That’s what they’re given for, everybody–one of the
main reasons.
So, the Bible says, “The nations were angry; the wrath of God has
come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and
that thou shouldest give reward to thy servants the prophets,
and to the saints.”
So, the Bible says, “And them that fear thy name, small and
great, they shouldest destroy them that destroy the earth.”
Their anger will cause the nations to invade Israel at
Armageddon, and their attempt to destroy Israel will make God
angry at the rebellion.
The Bible says, back in Zachariah, that his wrath will
come up in his face.
I don’t want that wrath being poured out upon me.
It’s gonna be a time of God’s great wrath, but it will also be
a time when the prophets and the saints are given their rewards.
And then John goes on to say that, “And the temple of God was
opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of
the testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and
thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.”
That’s Revelation–that’s at the very end of Revelation 11,
verse 19.
So, notice, at both the end of the seals–Revelation 8:5–and
the trumpets, there were voices, thunderings, lightnings, and
an earthquake.
And I’m not going to be discussing them here; it will
take too much time; I don’t have much time left.
But we’ve–it’s got to be mentioned because these same
events also occur at the end of the seven vials.
It lets us know the book of Revelation is not written in
chronological order.
But the Bible says, “And there were voices, and thunders, and
lightnings, and a great earthquake, such as was not
since there were upon the earth, so
mighty an earthquake, and so great.”
That’s all the way over in Revelation 16:18.
These are all different accounts of the Second Coming and the
wrath of God, and it’s just one more proof that the seals,
trumpets, and vials are each a different set of events that end
at the same time, and that’s the Second Coming of Jesus Christ
and the battle of Armageddon, when the wrath is poured out.
Then we have the simultaneous harvest in Revelation 14, but
there’s another account of that in Matthew 13.
Revelation and Matthew both give accounts of these two harvests.
Matthew 13, Jesus told the parable of the wheat and
the tares.
He said, there was a certain man that owned a field; his servants
had sown seed that he bought in the field.
When the seed came up, they noticed that there were tares–
or some kind of a weed–mixed in with the seeds.
And the servants asked their master if the seed that he had
sown, they said, “Is that bad seed?
Did you buy it at Farm Bureau or did you buy it at Walmart?”
Now, you guys can shop wherever you want; I’m just giving
an example.
Because they could not understand why there would have
been tares in the wheat.
Did you buy it from a reputable company or a not so
reputable company?
Let’s put it like that.
The master replied that an enemy had sown tares in the
wheat harvest.
Jesus provides an explanation later on about the parable; he
said, “He that sowed the good seed is the Son of man; The
field is the world; the good seed are the children of the
kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; and
the enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of
this age; and the reapers are the angels.”
It’s the same thing in Matthew 24.
God’s gonna send his angels with the sound of a trumpet to
gather–to reap–the elect.
The sower that sows the seeds; it’s the Word of God and is
Jesus the Son of man.
So the field is the world, well, Jesus sows his Word, and the
good seed that comes up is the wheat, or those that are saved.
The tares, those are the ones that rejected the gospel,
they’re lost.
Those are the children of the wicked one.
The enemy who sows the tares, it’s the devil.
The harvest is the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, the Rapture.
The reapers, according to Jesus, are the angels.
So what will happen to the wheat and to the tares?
Very important; listen at this– a lot of people don’t talk about
this stuff anymore–the Bible says, “As therefore the–” the
wheat is put in the storehouse, but–“the tares are gathered
and they’re burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of
this world–” or the end of this age.
But there are people that teach that nobody goes to hell at the
time of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
Well, you might as well rip the parable of the wheat and the
tares out of the Bible to teach that.
You say, “Dave, I just don’t like talking about this.”
I don’t want anybody to go to hell.
The Bible says it’s not God’s will that any should perish.
But the Bible does say that there will be people that
go there.
Jesus taught and preached on hell more than any other
preacher or teacher in the Bible, folks.
And so, I can’t come to you with just a rosy picture, for
those–the Bible says, in the book of Jude, that some are
saved by compassion and love, but some are saved by fear.
And so, when I–if I was going to preach in a pulpit, I go to
the prayer room.
My father-in-law Irvin Baxter drove it into me, from a young
man, “Don’t ever go to the pulpit
unless you’ve been to the prayer room.”
If you haven’t been to the prayer room, don’t go to the
pulpit because you need to pray.
There will be souls hanging in the balance in every church
service, and what you say could be a determining factor,
whether it was a message from God or it was just some speech
that you threw together ’cause you just didn’t want to take
the time.
Ministers–male, female–if you’re gonna preach in a pulpit,
know that there are people– there are marriages that
are hurting.
The church is a hospital.
Do your job, go to a prayer room, pray your heart hot, and,
if God wants you to preach on heaven, preach on heaven.
If he wants you to preach on hell, preach on hell.
If he wants you to preach on sin, preach on sin.
But preach the message that God gave you.
Why?
Because Jesus is coming back before long to establish his
kingdom here on the earth, and we want people to go to be
with him.
And so we’ve got to preach and teach the gospel of the kingdom
of God without fear or favor, everybody.
Why?
Because Jesus Christ is coming back soon, and I want everybody
within my sphere of influence– I love everybody on the earth,
but the Bible says it’s not gonna be that way.
But everybody that we can get our hands on and share the
gospel with them and change their life and pull them out of
Satan’s kingdom and put them in God’s kingdom, that’s our goal.
So let’s go forth and reach this world for the cause
of Jesus Christ.

and defeated.
