Taiwan Asks for Help in Possible War
Taiwan’s Foreign Minister called on Australia to deepen its alliance with the island nation, sharing intelligence and other resources in preparation for a possible war with China.
Australia has the same sort of relationship with Taiwan that the United States has had for many decades. They don’t “officially” recognize Taiwan as an independent nation, but they do commit to helping Taiwan with the ability to defend itself in the event of a military attack by the Chinese.
