Rambam enters emergency mode

The Rambam Medical Center in Haifa has formally activated its emergency procedures. Their fully equipped 2,000-bed underground hospital is operational, and patients are being relocated underground. Following instructions from the Health Ministry, the medical center is mandated to transition all patients and activities underground within eight to 10 hours.

As the primary tertiary care medical facility in the northern region, Rambam is tasked with treating all trauma patients, both civilian and military.

On Thursday, clinics and ambulatory services at the hospital will be suspended. Additionally, parking at the hospital will not be available until further notice.
