At a meeting with Yair Lapid in New York, British PM Liz Truss said she was reviewing “the current location of the British embassy in Israel.” Such a move would follow former US President Donald Trump’s decision to transfer the US embassy to Jerusalem in 2018. Palestinian officials said any move by Britain to transfer its embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem would be “a blatant violation of International law.”
