Maginnis expects Trump will leave Iran to ‘limp along’ for now

Unfortunately for those who want to see a regime change in Iran, a national defense analyst says it’s probably going to be the status quo for the foreseeable future.

After what he described as a “very good” two-hour meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on Wednesday, President Donald Trump said no final decisions about Iran’s nuclear program were made. In a post on social media, he emphasized that negotiations would continue “to see whether or not a deal can be consummated.”

Many observers say Iran cannot be trusted and argue that the United States should unleash its sizable military force against the rogue regime.
