Israel’s President Isaac Herzog awarded Netanyahu a ten-day extension to the initial 28 days to form a coalition. Netanyahu had requested the full 14-day extension and will still be able to request an additional four days if necessary. Politicians from the anti-Netanyahu bloc urged Herzog last week not to grant the request. The ten-day extension ends on December 21.
