The mayors’ requests come as U.S. cities have struggled to manage the impact of President Joe Biden’s border policies which have seen millions cross the southern border. The Democrat mayors, who oversee so-called sanctuary cities, did not complain about Biden’s policies until states like Texas started shipping the illegals north to their cities. Republican Gov. Greg Abbott’s busing operation has transported more than 80,000 illegals to Democratic-led cities since last year. His administration recently stepped up the practice with chartered planes.
