Blocking Ukrainians from ‘Weaponized’ Use of Starlink

SpaceX began providing its Starlink satellite internet services to Ukraine within days of Russian forces launching their large-scale invasion. Now the company, which is owned by Elon Musk, is working to curb Ukrainian forces from using their satellite internet services for “weaponized” activities like controlling armed drones. “We know the military is using them for comms, and that’s ok,” said chief operating officer Gwynn Shotwell. “But our intent was never to have them use it for offensive purposes.”
