Ballistic Missiles Intercepted Over Abu Dhabi

The United Arab Emirates intercepted two incoming ballistic missiles over its capital Abu Dhabi on Monday. A Houthi military spokesman claimed responsibility for the attack. The UAE would continue to be a target, he warned, “as long as attacks on the Yemeni people continue.” The Houthis, a Yemeni rebel movement backed by Iran, have since 2015 been at war with a Saudi-led coalition that includes the UAE.
