Israel, the Church, and the End of the Age: What Prophecy Really Reveals
The Rapture, the Great Tribulation, and God’s Promise: A Wake-Up Call for the End Time
By Dave Robbins, Endtime Ministries
The Bible is not a book of hidden allegories—it is a revelation of real events that will soon unfold before our eyes. In an age of confusion and spiritual apathy, understanding the truth about the Rapture, the Great Tribulation, and God’s eternal promise has never been more urgent.
On a recent episode of The Endtime Show, Dave Robbins unpacked these prophetic realities, reminding believers that prophecy is not designed to spark fear, but to inspire faith, endurance, and readiness for Christ’s return.
The Rapture: A Physical Event of Eternal Transformation
Scripture paints a vivid picture of the Rapture as a literal moment in time—when Jesus Christ will return in the clouds, accompanied by the sound of a mighty trumpet. At that instant, “the dead in Christ shall rise first,” and those who are alive and faithful will be transformed from mortal to immortal, caught up to meet the Lord in the air.
This is not a symbolic idea or a poetic metaphor. It is a divine promise, a physical event that marks the beginning of eternity for God’s people. Jesus told Nicodemus, “You must be born again.” That truth remains the key to being prepared for the Rapture in the very near future.
The Great Tribulation: The World’s Darkest Hour
While some interpret prophecy as mere symbolism, the Bible clearly describes a coming period of catastrophic persecution—the Great Tribulation. Jesus Himself warned that it would be “a time of trouble such as was not since the beginning of the world.”
According to Scripture, this period will last 3½ years, beginning with the abomination of desolation when the Antichrist stands in a rebuilt temple, declaring himself to be God. It will be a time of immense spiritual testing, but also one of unprecedented revival.
This is not the wrath of God—it is the wrath of Satan, directed toward Israel and the true church. Yet God’s Word promises protection and deliverance for those who remain faithful.
Israel’s Role: God’s Covenant Still Stands
In a world quick to dismiss Israel’s prophetic significance, replacement theology claims that the church has taken Israel’s place in God’s plan. Dave Robbins addressed this head-on, affirming that the covenant made with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob still stands today.
The rebirth of Israel in 1948 was not an accident—it was the fulfillment of Ezekiel’s vision of the valley of dry bones. What was once dead has come to life again, proving that God’s promises are “yes and amen.”
The Apostle Paul confirmed that God has not cast away His people. Israel’s temporary blindness has opened the door for Gentiles, but Scripture declares that “all Israel shall be saved” when Christ returns at Armageddon.
America and Prophecy: The Eagle’s Wings of Protection
Endtime prophecy also reveals America’s role in the last days. Symbolized by the eagle in Revelation 12, the United States will stand with Israel and provide protection during the Great Tribulation. While global powers unite under the Antichrist’s one-world government, America’s prophetic destiny remains distinct—defending Israel and standing for truth until the Second Coming.
A Message of Hope and Revival
There’s no question: a storm is coming. But for those rooted in Christ, that truth is not a warning of despair—it’s a call to action.
Now is the time to strengthen our faith, reach the lost, and prepare spiritually for the days ahead. As Dave Robbins said, “We don’t teach prophecy to scare people—we teach it to give them hope.”
The promise is sure: He that endures to the end shall be saved.
