International Courts and the Final World Empire
The International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court are preparing the world for the rule of the Antichrist.
The article argues that the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and the International Criminal Court (ICC) are key players in the creation of a one-world government, which the author claims will facilitate the rise of the Antichrist as described in Biblical prophecy. It highlights recent international legal actions, especially against Israel, portraying these courts as tools for global control. The article suggests that these institutions, with their focus on enforcing international humanitarian law, may play a significant role in the final stages of history, as outlined in Revelation, potentially leading to widespread tyranny.

International Courts Forming One-World Government
The International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court are vital to the preparations for the one-world government of the ruthless Antichrist prophesied in the Bible. Both the ICJ and the ICC have been in the news over the past few months, particularly as their hostilities toward Israel reveal their potential for enabling global tyranny.
“And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” (Revelation 13:7-8)
This Bible passage in Revelation 13 describes a ferocious beast, the Antichrist, who in a universal and relentless quest for power dominates much of the world during the Final Seven Years of human history just before the return of Jesus Christ. According to the Bible, the Antichrist “shall come in peaceably” (Daniel 11:21) and may well rise to power on a platform of promoting humanitarian justice.
Enforcing Humanitarian Law
The United Nations was set up in 1945 after World War II, ostensibly to prevent future world wars. Since then, world planners have longed for the creation of a court which would resolve international issues and prosecute individuals including kings and presidents who violate international law. President Bill Clinton proposed just such a court in his speech to the United Nations General Assembly in September 1997. “To punish those responsible for crimes against humanity and to promote justice so that peace endures,” he said, “we must maintain our strong support for the U.N.’s war crime tribunals and truth commissions. And before the century ends, we should establish a permanent international court to prosecute the most serious violations of humanitarian law.”[1]
ICJ and World Court; What’s the Difference?
The International Court of Justice located in The Hague, Netherlands, interprets and applies international law to nation states. It is the highest judicial organ of the United Nations and the only U.N. operational organ not in New York. The ICJ resolves disputes between nations and gives advisory opinions on international legal issues. Distinct from the ICJ, the International Criminal Court or ICC, also known as the “World Court,” is not part of the United Nations. It is also in The Hague and brings criminal action against individuals. By July 1998, the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court had been negotiated and adopted by 120 of the 127 nations attending the founding conference in Rome. It had become the first and only permanent international court with authority to prosecute individuals for the crimes of genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes and the crime of aggression.[2] The Antichrist may well appropriate structures of both the ICJ and the ICC to contend against his political enemies as he consolidates his power in the end time.
ICJ and ICC Confront Israel About Harming Civilians
Both the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court have noted the distinction between Israel’s right to continue fighting Hamas and its responsibility to avoid harming civilians. The ICJ or “World Court” ruling quoted the Genocide Convention, explaining Israel must immediately stop its military offensive in Rafah which was afflicting the Palestinians with situations that could result in its physical destruction “in whole or in part.” The ruling emphasizes that many of the 800,000 Gazans, which had been displaced several times before and had already fled Rafah, were obeying the Israeli Defense Forces’ directive to do so and that most of them were living in inhumane conditions with limited access to food, water, sanitation, medical services and shelter. At the other international court, the ICC prosecutor has requested arrest warrants for crimes against humanity, which are still pending for Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and Defense Minister Gallant. Israel’s Foreign Minister Israel Katz has sent letters to 25 other foreign ministers around the world asking them to step in and oppose the arrest warrants proposed against the Israeli leaders by submitting legal opinions to the ICC. Senior foreign ministry officials have said that “If these countries, or even some of them, send such a legal opinion to the court in The Hague, [in this case the ICC] the judges may be convinced that there is no reason to respond to the Prosecutor’s request.”[3]
Israel Faces Peril at “The Hague”
Israel has been accused of intentionally murdering Palestinian civilians which seems like a bizarre accusation. However, South Africa has done just that with charges it brought before the International Court of Justice at the end of December 2023. South Africa is serious in alleging the Israeli military operation in Gaza is part of a genocidal plan aimed at bringing about the destruction of the Palestinian people. In evidence presented to the ICJ in January 2024, South Africa alleged Israel “intended to bring about the destruction of a substantial part of the Palestinian national, racial and ethnical group.” South Africa charged that “Israel has engaged in, is engaging in and risks further engaging in genocidal acts against the Palestinian people in Gaza.” The ICJ confirmed that the charge is “plausible.” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded, asserting that South Africa’s accusation of “genocide” in the Gaza Strip was “false.” On Jan. 11, 2024, Netanyahu said “the hypocrisy of South Africa screams to the heavens,” as he reprimanded the country for not responding to atrocities in Syria and Yemen committed by “partners of Hamas.” Cases brought to the ICJ can sometimes take years to come to judgment. Meanwhile, the court has issued provisional judgments and has ordered Israel must do everything in its power to prevent genocide and that it must immediately halt its offensive in Rafah.[4]
Netanyahu’s Threatened ICC Arrest Shocks Israel
On May 20, 2024, the prosecutor for the International Criminal Court announced he was requesting war crime arrest warrants for Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant, Israel’s prime minister and defense minister, as well as for three Hamas leaders. It is inconceivable to Israelis that they might see their leaders appearing in the dock alongside the culprits of the October 7 massacre against them. Just as the Nuremberg trials did after World War II, the International Criminal Court is trying to prosecute Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his defense minister which could have a significant impact on the war against Hamas. Netanyahu lashed out at the International Criminal Court saying, “This is an outrage of historic proportions.” He added, “It will also be the first time that a democratic country fighting for its life according to the rules of war is itself accused of war crimes.” War crimes prosecutor Reed Brody called it a “watershed event,” noting this is the first time a Western or pro-Western leader is the subject of an indictment request. World leaders also reacted to the International Criminal Court’s decision, calling it “troubling” and “unacceptable.” Those 120 countries who signed on to the Rome Statute, not including Israel or the United States, would be bound to arrest Netanyahu and Gallant if the court issues arrest warrants for them. The warrants were requested but no decision was made about whether to issue them. Israel has not submitted to the authority of the ICC, but the Palestinian territories were admitted to membership in 2015.[5]
Anti-Semitic Bias, When Nations Turn Against Israel
In January 2024, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, “The vile attempt to deny Israel this fundamental right [to self-defense] is blatant discrimination against the Jewish state and it was justly rejected.” “The charge of genocide levelled against Israel,” he continued, “is not only false, it’s outrageous, and decent people everywhere should reject it.” The Jewish state took the ICJ case very seriously and sent a competent legal team to The Hague that argued it had a right to defend itself after the October 7 Hamas attack. In addition to grappling with the attack from Gaza, Israel has long contended with the anti-Semitic bias of many members of the International Community.[6] However, Israel is not alone in its struggle to survive. Several Bible passages describe a time when the Lord will contend with all of those who have contended with Israel.
“And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.” (Zechariah 12:3)
“And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.” (Zechariah 12:9)
“But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.” (Isaiah 49:25)
These verses serve as a stark warning that globalist nations which use international court lawfare against Israel are opposed by God and will be judged.
World Government Forming Now
While some countries have recognized that participating in international government inevitably results in the loss of national sovereignty, most of the world’s nations are moving even deeper into world government. With the support of the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court, globalists are now forming the anti-Israel world government prophesied in the Bible for the end time. Scripture has prophesied this world government will ultimately lead to the worst era of tyranny the world has ever known.
