Iran President-elect Raisi says U.S. Sanctions Must be Lifted, Won’t Meet Biden

After winning the Iranian presidential election, President-elect Ebrahim Raisi has called for the United States to return to the nuclear deal of 2015 and lift sanctions placed on Iran. UPI reports:
In his remarks, Raisi called for “national unity” in Iran and said the country won’t return to international talks over its nuclear program until related U.S. sanctions are removed — the same stance taken by President Hassan Rouhani.
