Many people believe that Islam is the form that will take over the world. They believe that the Antichrist will come out of Islam and rule over the world government system. However that is not what the Bible teaches.
Daniel 2:31-35 Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible. This image’s head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay. Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.
Babylon was the head of gold, followed by Media-Persia, then the Grecian Empire, then the Roman Empire, and finally the Holy Roman Empire.
The Holy Roman Empire started in 800 AD when Pope Leo III crown Charlemagne the emperor of the Holy Roman Empire. The empire dominated Europe for the next 1,000 years but many believe it ceased to exist in the 19th century. However on November 3, 2009 the Holy Roman Empire was reborn with the signing of the Lisbon treaty.
An interesting fact about the Holy Roman Empire is that from the time of Otto’s coronation until the official dissolution of the Empire in 1806, the imperial title was held almost exclusively by German monarchs.
The leopard in Bible prophecy represents Germany.
Revelation 13:1-2 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
So the world government of the Antichrist, the revived Holy Roman Empire, is going to be like unto a leopard. Germany is going to be a huge part of the world government of the antichrist.
Why is this important?
The Financial Times released an article on October 22 called, “Welcome to Berlin, Europe’s new capital”
Yet while the German capital has deliberately eschewed the trappings of imperial power, the fact is that Berlin is increasingly the de facto capital of the EU. Of course the EU’s main institutions – the commission and the council – are still based in Brussels. But the key decisions are increasingly made in Berlin. This article is telling us that Germany is becoming the capital and power of the European Union.
So with all this happening in the news, are we watching the prophecies of the Bible come to pass?

Wow ! As a believer I am amazed at the many, many, many, different opinions of the end times, the anti-christ, tribulation, rapture, signs , signs, everywhere signs. If “you” are a believer then you too are totally amazed at all of the opinions. The question must be asked, ” Is my God a God of confusion ?” I want to believe the answer is NO ! If he is not then how do I understand the times in which I live ? Other than a plain reading of the WORD how do I discern these multiple points of view and make wise choices about my soul and the souls of others that I speak to about Jesus and the times in which we live. The scariest phrase in the bible is,”I knew you not “. It seems the more I research the subject the more different opinions I come across. Surely they are not all correct if any at all. My take on this whole subject can be narrowed down to this….I will never know the exact details….I can not read Gods mind…..However, Jesus (God) was terribly upset with those in responsible positions for not knowing the times in which they lived. So by reading the signs along with my understanding of scripture I conclude we are in the end times. That is all I need to know. I should live my life accordingly. Making preperations for the bad times that are starting to unravel now and in the very near future. Preach to my family first. Then friends and strangers and anyone that will listen. God prophecized so that we would not be caught off guard no matter what your opinion on the details. So leave the details to the ones who think they have it all figured out. Just know the season and prepair. You can not be saved and go to hell all by yourself……why would you want to follow some one else there all because you listened to them instead of the Holy Spirit that lives in You ! My God gives me peace not confusion !

Folks am perplexed as to who is the anti-christ and the false prophet?. but i believe the so call holy Roman vertican is the false prophet, then who is the anti-christ? .This shouldn’t call for controversy because everybody must sincerely prepare for our Lord and Saviour return and we shall see the anti-christ.
There is soooooo much going on that pertains to Bible and the end times. I do news for the pews at church….. its overwhelming at times at how all the things are coming true and help leading God into saving lives we’ve had several people get saved and baptized in the last month amen thank you Jesus.So people need to wake up repent and get baptized MAY THE LORD KEEP YOU AND WATCH OVER U GOD BLESS AND I SAY A PRAYER FOR ISRAEL AND UNSAVED NATIONS…………
Hi, I was just wondering, how does anyone figure out what countries are represented by the descriptions in the Bible. Like how do we know Germany is the Leopard spoken of in Daniel. I just never understood how people are so sure of what is being described. And is America spoken of by a description like this in Revelation or Daniel. And also, I read something that described “The Great Harlot” as being the Catholic Church. I truly just want to understand all of this.
