Ukraine Prepared to Join EU, Says Commission
On Wednesday, Ukraine’s EU aspirations received a significant boost as the European Commission announced that detailed accession negotiations are slated to commence next year. This decision comes after a wait of nearly 18 months since Ukraine became a candidate state within the bloc. Additionally, the report suggested initiating the same process for Moldova, Ukraine’s neighboring country.
