Plea for action after 50 killed in church massacre on Pentecost Sunday

Christian religious freedom charity Open Doors is pleading with Nigerian authorities to “break the cycle of violence” in the country after 50 people were killed in a massacre at a church on Pentecost Sunday.

The priest and an unknown number of worshippers were abducted during the attack on St Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo state.
