Amazon is joining the ranks of companies testing drone deliveries for prescription medications. In College Station, Texas, customers can now receive their prescriptions within an hour of ordering, thanks to a specially programmed drone flying from a secure pharmacy delivery center. The drone will hover about four meters (13 feet) above the customer’s location and drop a padded package with the medication.
