Q. Is the Great Tribulation the Wrath of God or the Wrath of Satan?

A.According to Revelation 12:12, the three and one half year tribulation period is the Wrath of Satan.

Spending Cuts Equal Smallest Army Since WWII

In order to reach budget cut goals, the Pentagon has issued a plan to scale-back our army to 440,000 to 450,000 soldiers. Those numbers would make the army as small as it’s been since the start of World War II, when the army had a total of 267,767 men. The plan is part of a goal by the Defense Department to save the military nearly $10 trillion over the next ten years.

U.S. and Russia at Odds Over Syrian Peace Talks

Once again the Geneva peace talks concerning the ending of Syria’s civil war have grinded to screeching halt. A second round of talks ended this past weekend with virtually no progress being made.  America has blamed Damascus for the failure of the summit, while Russia said that world powers backing Syria would rather end the war on the battle front than at the peace table. U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry, further solidified the United States’ opinion stating, "The regime stonewalled. They did nothing except continue to drop barrel bombs on their own people and continue to destroy their own country. And I regret to say they are doing so with increased support from Iran, from Hezbollah and from Russia.”

Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, will visit Washington next month to meet with President Obama in an effort to keep the “pressure on” in regards to stopping Iran from developing nuclear weapons. Netanyahu has vocally opposed the interim agreement, which allows Iran to cut back on parts of its nuclear program in exchange for sanction relief, calling it a “historic mistake”.

DEBKAfile published an article on February 12 titled: “Netanyahu accepts Kerry’s “framework” in principle, seeks publication delayed to Knesset recess” The “Framework” mentioned here is John Kerry’s proposed peace agreement to Israel and the Palestinians. One might ask, “Why is this so significant?” Daniel 9:27 states that an interim peace agreement will be signed between Israel and the Palestinians, seven years before the Battle of Armageddon and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. It says, “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.”

Religious groups join the fight

A group of religious organizations have come together to urge a federal appeals court to uphold same-sex marriage bans in Utah and Oklahoma, saying unions between a man and woman are best for children, families and society. These arguments were made in a 42-page brief filed Monday afternoon to a Denver-based court reviewing cases that could reverse gay-marriage bans in Utah and Oklahoma. Here are some things that were mentioned. "Our respective religious doctrines hold that marriage between a man and a woman is sanctioned by God as the right and best setting for bearing and raising children," "We believe that children, families, society, and our nation thrive best when husband-wife marriage is upheld and strengthened as a cherished, primary social institution."

Obamacare May Cause 2 Million Workers to Reduce Work Hours by 2017

The Congressional Budget Office stated on Tuesday that by 2017 the American workforce could be diminished by 2 million full-time workers because of President Obama’s Affordable Healthcare Law, better known as Obamacare. The number rises to 2.5 million by 2024. In an effort to avert the loss of governmental subsidies provided by Obamacare, many employees, especially those with lower paying jobs, will reduce their work hours.
