Bible Prophecy: God’s Roadmap for the Days Ahead

Dave Robbins: Many today claim it’s impossible to reach a clear
and conclusive understanding of end time Bible prophecy.
However, the prophet Daniel, Jesus himself, the apostle Paul,
and John the Revelator all declared that we can understand
these prophecies.
Well, on this edition of “The Endtime Show,” I’m going to
provide a clear overview of many of these prophecies.
♪♪♪
Dave: Good afternoon, everybody.
Dave Robbins with Endtime Ministries.
Thank you so much for joining me on this edition of “The
Endtime Show.”
I recently heard someone say that we can’t truly understand
Bible prophecy until after it’s fulfilled, so we shouldn’t
bother trying to become experts or professionals in the study of
Bible prophecy.
But if that’s the case, why did God fill roughly 30% of the
Bible with prophecy in the first place?
Well, of course, Jesus urges us over and over again to stay
awake and watch for the fulfillment of prophecy.
In Matthew 24:33, he said, “So likewise, when ye see these
things, when you see all these things, then know that it is
near, even as the door–even at the doors.”
Well, if you–if we can understand Bible prophecy, then
what do we even know to look for, right?
In Mark 13:37, Jesus said, “And what I say unto you I say unto
all, Watch.”
So we’ve got to know what to watch for.
The apostle Paul, he echoes this in 1 Thessalonians 5, verse 1
through 6.
He’s–he was speaking to them then.
He was talking to them, but he’s eventually gonna turn and speak
to us.
He says, “Men and brethren.
But of the times and seasons, brethren, you have no need that
I write unto you.
For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord is
gonna come as a thief in the night.
For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden
destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child;
and they shall not escape.”
So he goes from talking to them, now he’s gonna speak to us.
In one verse here he switches and he says, “But ye, brethren,
are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as
a thief.
You’re all children of the light, and the children of the
day: we are not of the night, nor of the darkness.
Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and
be sober.”
So I think as a result of the–these–the prophetic
warnings over and over and over again, that I think we’re
supposed to be watching.
And God gave us all of these prophecies to understand before
they get here so that when we–when they get here we can
say, “Okay, now I–look what we’ve been telling you all this
time, according to Bible prophecy.
Now these things have happened and look how close we are.”
Jesus said in John 14:29, “I tell you these things before
they come to pass, that, when they come to pass, you
might believe.”
But if we don’t have a clue what we’re looking for, then why do
we have 30% of the Bible–why did God give that to us in
his Word?
Well, I think it’s because we can understand it, and I want to
make sure you understand that on this program today.
So on our weekly television and daily radio program, we explain
how current events are the direct fulfillment of Bible
prophecies written thousands of years ago, conclusively proving
that we are living in the end time.
We cover critical topics, world government, world religion,
precursors to the mark of the beast, World War III, the reborn
Holy Roman Empire, the Israeli-Palestinian peace
efforts, the red heifers, the Third Temple, Armageddon, the
Rapture, the Second Coming, the kingdom of God, and so
many more.
And with Jesus’s return to establish his 1,000-year kingdom
on the earth now very soon, the timing of this is of utmost
importance because the prophecies warn us that perilous
times are coming.
So we need to know how to navigate the times just ahead,
what to watch for, know how close we are, what to avoid,
what to be a part of.
And then the prophecies help us and our entire sphere of
influence, everybody on earth that God has chosen myself or
you to be an ambassador to, that we would know how to guide
people through these things.
Doesn’t Daniel 11:32 and 33 say, during the time of the
AntiChrist that “they that do know their God will be strong,
and do exploits.
And they that understand among the people shall instruct many”?
If we can’t understand Bible prophecy, how are we going to
instruct people?
But yet there are those that say, “Well, we really can’t
understand Bible prophecy until it’s fulfilled.”
Well, I’m gonna challenge that today.
You know, understanding these events, it is essential, again,
so we can instruct our loved ones and others on which
developments to avoid and participate in.
But if not the church–think about this, if the church can’t
understand these things, then who?
Doesn’t the Bible say in Daniel chapter 12, “The wicked shall
not understand, but the wise shall understand”?
What does it mean by wise there?
Somebody who’s–has some kind of super intelligence?
No, it’s for those that have been studying the prophecies,
that understand them, and have been seeking God’s face and he’s
revealed these things to them, then they can go out.
People who have been watching, been seeking God’s face and
asking him for the revelation of these things, he’s revealed
these things to them and now they can go out and
instruct others.
And so, again, I ask, if not the church, then who?
If not now, then when?
I mean, the urgency is very, very clear.
Can you feel it? Can you see it?
Can you hear it as I’m talking to you today?
Why is the urgency very clear?
Because the end time is right now.
Now, when we say “end time,” what in the world does
that mean?
Because many times when people hear the words “end time,” they
immediately associate them with the end of the world, with the
great white throne judgment and entering off into our
eternal existence.
But when I say “end time,” that’s not what I’m
talking about.
The end time or the end of the age is actually that–when the
disciples asked the Lord in Matthew 24, “What’s gonna be the
sign of your coming and of the end of the world?”
In the King James Version, the word “world” there in the
original Greek was A-I-O-N, which means age.
So they were saying, “What’s gonna be the sign of your coming
and of the end of this age?”
Not the end of the world.
Big difference here.
So the end time or the end of the age that we talk about so
often is actually the end of the time of human government and the
beginning of the kingdom of God.
It’s at the time of the Second Coming.
When we say we are in the end time, we are–simply mean that
we are quickly approaching the Second Coming of Jesus and the
Battle of Armageddon, which is when this transition from human
government to God’s kingdom takes place.
We’re living through the events.
Many of them are referenced–I just referenced a minute ago,
that are prophesied to occur during this time, immediately
before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ and the Battle
of Armageddon.
We are living through those events as I speak to you today.
So I want you to consider that every 2,000 years on God’s
prophetic–God’s timeline here, there is a major event in
the–let’s say the plan of God for the human race, every
2,000 years.
So in the beginning, obviously, there was–this would be 4000
BC, Adam and Eve were created.
Around 2,000 years later, in 2000 BC, Abraham was born.
And of course, he became the father of the physical people of
God on the earth, the Jews, and the father of the spiritual
people of God on the earth, the church, through Jesus Christ.
And then approximately 2,000 years after that, Jesus Christ
was born.
And so it’s every 2,000 years, there’s a major event on God’s
timeline here, on God’s plan.
Look at it throughout the Bible.
So the historic point of time that we live in right now
promises to be the most important since the beginning of
the human race and then, of course, the–you have the First
Coming of Jesus Christ.
And then we are now on the verge of the Second Coming of Jesus,
who will establish his 1,000-year reign of peace and
his kingdom here on the earth.
The saints of God who are Raptured will rule and reign
with him as kings and priests during that 1,000-year
millennial reign.
Now, the Bible clearly tells us after the end of human
government–you know that Satan has been establishing his
kingdom here on earth for thousands of years now, Jesus
Christ himself talked about Satan’s kingdom.
And remember when Satan went out to tempt Jesus, and he said,
“See all these kingdoms of the world, they are mine to give.
I have the power, and if you’ll bow down and worship me.”
Well, the fact is, is when the Bible says at the time of the
seventh trump, the seventh trumpet in the book of
Revelation, that the kingdoms of this world will become the
kingdoms of our Lord and of his Christ.
No more human government, no more Satan kingdom.
That’s over with.
He’s going to be bound for 1,000 years.
He is going to be loosed for a short period at the end of
1,000 years.
But while Jesus Christ is here on earth, it’s going to be God’s
kingdom, and the Bible says he will rule them with a rod
of iron.
Oh, aren’t you looking for that day?
So that’s at the last trump.
There’s going to be another 1,000 years of human existence
after that, and this will be when Jesus Christ returns, sets
up his kingdom, and begins to reign for that 1,000 years on
the earth.
There will be no war during that time.
The Bible says, “They learn– they will learn war no
more” and–for that 1,000 years.
Now, mankind has been allowed to rule himself for about 6,000
years now in order to learn.
Guess what we’ve learned?
That we can’t rule ourselves.
I mean, I’ve got to turn my life over to Jesus or I can make an
absolute mess of it.
Have you not found that to be true?
But Jesus Christ is coming back, and he’s going to establish
his kingdom.
And his kingdom will never pass away and never be destroyed.
That’s Daniel 2:44.
So this is the end time or the end of the age.
Folks, you and I, everybody listening to me right now are
just prior to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, the Battle
of Armageddon.
I can prove that–you know, I’m gonna prove that in many ways as
we go throughout the program here, but I can prove it over
and over and over.
World government, world religion, precursor to the mark
of the beast, all of those things are supposed to be
happening just prior to and up until the Second Coming of
Jesus Christ.
We’re living through that right now.
But the thing is, the knowledge of this hasn’t always
been available.
Daniel didn’t understand much of his writings.
John didn’t understand much of his writings in the book
of Revelation.
The apostles didn’t understand Daniel’s writings and some of
the other prophets, that it wasn’t time.
So these end time Bible prophecies, the knowledge of
that is reserved for the people of the time of the end.
Remember back, the prophet Daniel was given some of the
greatest prophecies of the entire Bible.
Many of the–you know, most of his prophecies, they’re in the
process right now of being fulfilled.
But, again, many of the writers of the Bible did not understand
Daniel’s prophecies, and many of the others, they couldn’t.
There’s no way that they could have understood the writings of
Daniel chapter 7, of the modern nations, because none of the
nations that he was referring to, that would be on the earth
and in power when the Ancient of Days would come to establish his
kingdom here on the earth, none of those nations were even
thought of during the time of Daniel.
Even through the time of the apostles, when the New Testament
church was here, Great Britain, the United States, Russia,
Germany, the Holy Roman Empire, they–they’d never even heard
about anything.
They had heard of the Roman Empire, surely, because it ruled
the world during their era, but they had no clue what the Holy
Roman Empire was.
That wasn’t established until 800 AD, so they couldn’t have
understood the feet of iron mingled with clay in Daniel 2,
it wasn’t time.
So in Matthew 24 when Jesus said, “No man knoweth the day or
the hour,” that’s true, 2,000 years ago they couldn’t.
He didn’t say no one will ever know.
Because remember, Daniel’s book was closed up and sealed until
the time of the end.
Daniel didn’t understand his own prophecies.
In the last chapter of Daniel, Daniel 12, verse 9, you find
Daniel praying to understand what he had written, “What’s the
timing of all of these things?
When’s this stuff gonna wrap up?”
And God told Daniel, he said, “No, Daniel.”
But he explained to him why.
He said, “Go thy way, Daniel: for the words, these words that
I’ve given you, they’re closed up and sealed till the time of
the end.”
Even 100 years ago, many people still did not understand many of
the writings of Daniel, the book of Revelation, because it simply
wasn’t time.

Dave: Almighty God, in 550 BC when the book of Daniel was
written, made a sovereign decision that he would hide the
understanding of Bible prophecy until a particular time.
Those words, “closed up and sealed till the time of the
end,” God chose to reserve the understanding of those
prophecies in Daniel until a special time, the end time.
So you’ve heard people say over the years, “Nobody can
understand these end time Bible prophecies.”
Well, up until a certain time, they’re correct, nobody
could understand.
But you and I live in the end time right now, so now we can
understand these prophecies.
Now, Almighty God, he’s now revealing these prophecies
to us.
You say, “Wow, Dave, that’s a pretty arrogant statement.”
No, I’m just telling you, it’s time.
It’s not because my father-in-law Irvin Baxter or
myself or Doug or Vince or any of us here at Endtime–it’s not
because we’re any super intelligent humans or any–even
any more spiritual than any of our forefathers in–or ladies in
the church before us that have come.
No, it’s not that.
I’m–we’re not saying we’re more spiritual or smarter than any of
the apostles or anybody that tried to figure–may have tried
to figure some of these things out.
I mean, in Acts chapter 1, they didn’t have a clue.
The Bible says when Jesus is getting ready to ascend into
heaven, the Bible says he brought his disciples together
and he talked to them about things concerning the kingdom
of God.
And one of them asked him, “Lord, will you at this time
restore your kingdom?”
They didn’t have a clue about these Bible prophecies.
But now that we’ve seen all of those prophecies being fulfilled
up to this point and there’s only a few left, now we know we
are just prior to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
So God decided to put end time prophecy in the hands of the end
time church, why?
Well, undoubtedly for the purpose of generating one last
great end time revival.
I don’t study Bible prophecy and try to be a professional in
understanding these things just because I want to be–to come
off as smarter or more arrogant or so I can win a debate.
That’s not the goal.
My goal is to teach and preach the gospel of the kingdom of God
to this entire world because the end time is right now.
But prophecy builds people’s faith in the Word of God.
The Bible says about Jesus in Revelation 19, “The testimony of
Jesus Christ is the spirit of prophecy.”
John 14:29 says, Jesus said, “And now I have told you before
it comes to pass, that, when it comes to pass, you
would believe.”
Jesus Christ is trying to get people to believe in his Book,
in his message of the gospel of the kingdom.
So we need to build people’s faith in the Word of God.
To many people, they’ve got seeing is believing.
So when I can use current events to show how prophecies written
2,000 to 2,500 years ago are coming to pass right now, I saw
the light bulb pop on in so many people’s heads that says, “Oh my
goodness, I see it!”
And I get them involved with a prophecy Bible study in the Word
of God.
And then now that I’ve got them believing in the Word of God–I
can take an atheist, somebody who’s agnostic, and if they’ve
got a sincere heart, I can get them believing in the Word of
God within 15 minutes, using Bible prophecy.
And then once I’ve got a hook in them, a prophecy hook,
which–this is all godly, my ulterior motive is to show them
the gospel of the kingdom of God.
Now, the Bible says, “We’ve all sinned and fallen short of the
glory of God,” we’ve got a sinful nature all the way from
Adam and Eve, but you can be reborn.
We’re all born with a sinful nature, but you can be reborn
and you can go spend eternity with Jesus Christ.
And then we share the gospel, and that’s how we win souls.
That’s my goal in all of this.
But when people come along and say, “Oh, nobody can understand
these Bible prophecies until they’re fulfilled,” that, I
don’t understand any of that because that’s not biblical.
So in this particular case here, Jesus was referring to his
resurrection from the dead, in John 14:29.
But that’s the power of prophecy, everybody.
When God foretells things in intricate detail, many times
hundreds and thousands of years in advance, then we’re amazed at
how accurate the Bible is, how supernatural the Word of God is,
and all-knowing that God is.
And God is–the Bible says God knows the end from the
beginning, and he went to the writers of the Bible and he
said, “Okay, I’m going to write one book, and 30% of that book
I’m going to fill with Bible prophecy.
I’m going to foretell events that will occur thousands of
years from now, so that last end time generation, just prior to
my Second Coming, they’re going to know–they’re gonna know the
time I’m coming, they’re gonna know the events leading right up
to that, and they’re gonna know what to be a part of and what
to avoid.
And it’s gonna be a great soul-winning tool that they can
use to reach the lost and to ignite the end time church for
end time revival.”
Now, that’s Bible prophecy.
But there are some that say we can’t understand it.
Well, I hope to–I hope to make sure you guys know that we can
understand it.
Let’s just put it like that.
So Revelation 19, again, says, “For the testimony of Jesus
Christ is the spirit of prophecy.”
So God has always used prophecy and its fulfillment to create
faith in the hearts of those that will believe.
If you’re not sincere in your heart, then we’ve–that’s a
whole other Bible study.
But if you’re sincere and you say, “Look, I just wanna know
the truth,” you can understand prophecy.
And we’re now entering the time of the most rapid fulfillment of
Bible prophecy in the history of the entire world.
In my opinion, nobody should enter the time just ahead
without a thorough working knowledge of the prophecies of
the Bible.
I would be scared out of my mind.
What’s all this world government?
What’s all these numbers they’re trying to get us to take?
And, you know, we would have no clue without Bible prophecy.
We would be in an absolute fog.
I would have no clue about what’s going on over in the
Middle East and what’s going on in Europe.
With the big shakeup in Europe and here in the United States
and all the dynamics of the establishment, the deep state,
and every–all the huge dynamics going on in the world, what’s
really–we’re like being like sheep led to a slaughter, right?
But not if you understand the Bible.
Not if you understand God’s Word and you have a relationship with
Jesus Christ and you’re being led by his Spirit, then I
don’t–and I’m born again and I know I’m going to be with him.
If something should happen to me someday, some way, somehow, I’m
born again and I’m gonna go to be with the Lord.
I know that, there’s no doubt in my mind.
So it takes the fear factor out of what’s coming.
Do you serve a God that wants you to walk through the times
just ahead with blindfolds on?
Prophetic fulfillments, they’re already happening every day.
The apostle Paul said that there would be perilous times in the
last days.
Other prophecies foretell chaos, incredible danger in our future,
but God did not want his church to walk through those
times unaware.
The Endtime team, you know, we recently–it was so important
over like a couple of years ago, we went ahead and updated our
entire “Understanding The End Time” video series.
You can watch it on–you can either purchase the DVDs here at

And you can get to that by going–and subscribe by going

You can watch the entire series and all of our series about
Bible prophecy on there, and so much more.
And it not only helps you, but it helps your family, your
friends, your entire sphere of influence, as we navigate
through these treacherous times that are just ahead.
And you say, “Dave, you’re trying to sow fear.”
I don’t teach prophecy as fear.
I’m not trying to scare anybody into doing anything.
I’m telling you, the–me understanding Bible prophecy
takes the fear factor out of it.
I know what to avoid.
I know what to be a part of.
I know how to navigate the times just ahead, and it really helps.
It–I mean, it is an immense help to me other than–besides
being born again and knowing that I’ve got my hand in Jesus’s
hand, walking through all of this.
There’s no greater feeling than that, everybody.
So here’s the question.
Can end time prophecies be understood?
Absolutely, absolutely.
Again, there are many that claim the prophecies of the end time,
that they cannot be understood, at least till they’re
already fulfilled.
However–but that defeats the whole thing, right?
What are we supposed to watch for if we don’t understand any
of this stuff?
But the prophet Daniel, Jesus, the apostle Paul, and John all
taught differently.
We–they said we can understand.
Let’s look at it really quickly.
Daniel prophesied that during the time of the AntiChrist, the
Bible says, and this would be Daniel 11:32 and 33, “And such
as do wickedly against the covenant shall he,” who’s he?
The Antichrist, “Corrupt by flatteries: but the people that
do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
And they that understand among the people shall instruct many.”
“They that understand among the people.”
But I thought some are saying nobody can understand.
Well, people that aren’t studying it, no, they’re not
gonna understand.
People that aren’t seeking God’s face, no, they won’t understand.
Even though it’s 30% of the Bible, “Oh, we can’t understand
that stuff until it’s fulfilled,” huh?
Where do you see that in the Bible?
He’s saying, “Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed
up and sealed till the time of the end.
Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked
shall do wickedly: none of the wicked shall understand; but the
wise shall understand.”
That’s Daniel 12, verses 9 and 10.
Jesus said, “When you therefore shall see the abomination of
desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet,” this is in Matthew
24, “stand in the holy place.”
He’s talking to them about when the Antichrist will stand in a
rebuilt Jewish temple proclaiming to be God.
He said, “Whoso readeth, let him understand.”
This is Jesus saying that we will be able to understand what
the abomination of desolation is.
But you say we won’t–some people say, “Well, we won’t
understand it until we see it fulfilled.”
That’s not what Jesus is saying here.
He said, “When you see that event happen, then you can–then
let them which be in Judea flee.”
“Let him who hath understanding–let him–whoso
readeth, let him understand.”
But we’ve got to understand what it is so we’ll recognize
it, right?
And so we can understand Bible prophecy.
Dave: One of the most frequently asked questions we receive at
Endtime Ministries is: Why do you guys teach the Rapture
happens after the Great Tribulation?
Should we be passively waiting to be taken at any moment or
actively preparing for the greatest revival in history?
Paul states plainly it will not occur until after the man of
sin, the AntiChrist, is revealed.
And that will not happen until God declares it is time.
I will walk you through a timeline of the final
seven years.
The Rapture, the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, and the Second
Coming of Jesus Christ is one continuous event.
It’s not an event separated by seven years.
