Irvin Baxter’s Prophetic Legacy: Understanding Daniel 12 in Real Time

Dave Robbins: Daniel 12, verse 3
through 4, it says this–and I wanted to read
the Amplified version of the Bible for this, “Those who are
spiritually wise will shine brightly like the brightness of
the expanse of heaven, and those who lead many to righteousness
will shine like the stars forever and ever.”
So, what’s the role of the church in the end time?
“Go ye into the world,” make disciples, teach,
baptize, teach.

Dave: Currently writing the book of Daniel, or a book on the book
of Daniel, I should say.
I’ve learned a lot, and it’s really helped me to understand
some of the things that God revealed through Daniel.
Daniel didn’t even understand these things.
And then we got all the way to Daniel chapter 12, which I
wanted to talk about the increase of knowledge here is
what I’m gonna focus on.
But it’s good to understand that Daniel talked about two
resurrections here.
One to everlasting life in at Christ’s coming, the Second
Coming, that–of course, that’s connected to the Battle of
Armageddon right there.
And then the later one to shame and contempt, and that would be
after the Millennium at the Great White Throne Judgment.
Daniel himself did not see the full Millennial Reign in
his visions.
But his vision points to the final outcomes of history right
there before we enter off into our eternal existence beyond the
Millennial Reign.
The key verse is Daniel 12:4.
This is what I wanted to focus on today.
And it reveals a dramatic increase in knowledge in the
end time.
Now, I’m gonna talk about some secular knowledge and then also
Bible prophecy knowledge, because it says that many–most
translations of the Bible says that knowledge will increase.
The Amplified version says that the knowledge of the plan of God
will increase.
I think it’s both.
And can you tell me that–some people would still say we’re not
in the end time, but look at the increase of knowledge right now.
And so, number one, the explosion of secular knowledge
and global travel.
The Bible says it will–that many shall run to and
fro, right?
So, think about it like this: For roughly 6000 years of
recorded human history, daily life moved at a pace of a horse,
a donkey, or people just walking their human feet.
And long-distance travel was rare, slow, and dangerous.
Thinking about–think about being in a ship going across the
Atlantic, let’s say from Boston to Great Britain.
Think about that, a ship, just slow.
But now, I can get in an airplane and be from here–from
New York to Europe.
And I think it’s about what–maybe a nine-hour trip,
maybe 8 1/2, nine hours.
Think about that.
I–matter of fact, I can get in a plane in New York and be
sitting in Tel Aviv, Israel in about ten, 9 1/2, ten hours.
And you’re talking about thousands of miles, and I can be
there–I can leave at breakfast and be there for supper time.
So–but all of that has happened in just over the last 100,
150 years.
The first automobile was created in the late 1800s.
Now think about this, 6000 years of human history, nothing
like this.
But in the late 1800s, the first automobile, the first airplane
created and flown in the early 1900s.
Certainly, commercial airliners as we understand them, this
reliable scheduled passenger service that with significant
capacity, I’m talking about three or four or 500 people on a
plane, where that was essentially non-existent
over–just over the last 125 years or so.
And widespread automobile ownership.
And like–meaning that, you know, cars as a common everyday
feature for the masses owned by–you know, two or three by
every family, it seems like.
That was unhea–totally unheard of prior to the late 1800s,
1900s, early 1900s, and really, beyond that.
And it was–it was still only emerging, particularly outside
the United States.
So, there was no–prior to, you know, the last 100, 125 years,
certainly, no computers, no internet, no
smartphones, knowledge.
Now, look at how it spreads slowly through–you know,
knowledge at that point spread slowly through books, letters,
word of mouth, very slow, just walking through molasses.
If I wanted to send a message to somebody from Dallas to New
York, that would have taken weeks.
But now I can pick up my smartphone and I can text
somebody from here to New Zealand, the other side of
the world.
I’ve done it many times.
I’ve got a friend that lives in New Zealand, one in Australia.
Well, I’ve got them all over the world.
I can text them right now, and it is instantaneously.
Now, all of that changed dramatically.
All–obviously, the books, letters, and word of mouth, of
course, that changed dramatically over the last 100
years, right?
I mean, think about the increase of knowledge, jet engines, GPS
systems, satellite navigation, supersonic passenger flights.
And some planes, you could go from New York to Europe in just
a few hours.
Hybrid and electric vehicles, maglev trains, autonomous
vehicles, wide-bodied jet airliners.
I just–it’s unreal, the stuff that’s happened in just over the
last century.
And think about it, not even–people through–for pretty
much the last 5900 years, this would have been unheard of,
unthinkable, impossible.
But now to us, I can jump on a plane and be in New York in
about three, 3 1/2 hours just from Dallas.
And today, billions of people travel just vast distances
every year.
There, just think about this.
There are people that are in some of these major airlines
that have traveled 2, 3 million miles on a plane.
They’re in–they’re in what’s called the Million Mile Club,
but some of them have traveled millions of miles on a plane.
Global air travel alone has carried roughly 8 billion
passengers in the year 2025.
And with international tourists hitting around 1.5 billion.
And so, think about up until, what, the early 1900s and
beyond now.
From the early 1900s to right now, what, the last 125 years,
highways, airports, high-speed rail networks.
They’ve made running to and fro an everyday reality on a scale
that Daniel could never have imagined.
And what once took months or years, now takes hours.
At the same time, secular knowledge has
exploded exponentially.
Futurists that are tracking this trend–now, think about this,
the explosion of knowledge, secular knowledge, building on
the–a guy named Buckminster Fuller’s knowledge
doubling curve.
Listen closely.
Until 1900, human knowledge roughly doubled every 100 years.
By 1945, it doubled every 25 years.
By the early 1980s, human knowledge was doubling every
13 months.
But think about this, folks.
Today, there are estimates that place the doubling rate at
roughly every 12 hours in many fields.
And of course, that’s driven by the internet,
artificial intelligence.
You realize, my father-in-law, Irvin Baxter passed just about 5
1/2 years ago now, in November of 2020.
He and I never had a conversation about
artificial intelligence.
We may have heard about it, but we didn’t sit down and say,
“Okay, here’s how we’re going to use artificial intelligence to
help expand the reach of “Endtime.”
Never one conversation.
But now look how artificial intelligence is running most
things with algorithms and all this other stuff, and how it’s
just–everything–my father-in-law, Irvin Baxter,
would have loved artificial intelligence to use it for good
and the spreading of the gospel around the world.
I mean, I can write an article, I wrote articles for
“Endtime” magazine.
I was the editor of “Endtime” magazine before Irvin
Baxter passed.
And now, I know what it was like to just go through the laborious
process of writing an article.
And now, I can write an article so much faster because all of
the information is right there at my fingertips.
Now, I’ve got to make it say what I want it to say.
But still, the access to information is
just–everything’s right here instantaneous.
And the Bible says knowledge will increase.
They say today that in many fields, not the entire human
knowledge, but the in many fields, that knowledge is in–is
doubling every 12 hours.
The internet, artificial intelligence, big data
collection, the internet of things, the internet of
everything, and the ra–and the rapid scientific publication
that is helping to just increase knowledge exponentially.
And this is not hype, folks.
This is very measurable.
Scientific papers, patents, digital data, technological
breakthroughs, they just pour forth at a pace that would have
been inconceivable even two generations ago.
And the knowledge bank of the human race has grown so fast
that no single person can master more than just a tiny fraction
of it.
And the Bible foresaw this acceleration precisely at the
time of the end.
Think about that.
The same era that produced automobiles, airplanes,
computers, and global connectivity also fulfills that
many shall run to and fro.
The clause that’s in Daniel chapter 2–or–I’m sorry, Daniel
chapter 12, verse 3, and that is a literal, a physical sense
while supercharging the spread of information.

Dave: Now, That’s the sprea–that’s the increase of
knowledge on the secular side.
But the Bible says that the knowledge of the–in the
Amplified version, it says the knowledge of the plan of God
would be revealed, the increase of knowledge in that would be
increased right here in the end time.
Wow, have we saw that happen, right?
And there are many people back in the–over the last couple
hundred years, let’s say late 1800s, early 1900s, that tried
to figure out some of these Bible prophecies, it was
not possible.
It does not mean that they were great men and women of God and
that they were not smart individuals.
And people nowadays that–I believe Endtime Ministries has
the vast majority, I’m gonna say at least 98, 98.5%, maybe 99% of
the Bible prophecies.
God showed my father-in-law, Irvin Baxter, and he’s helping,
and he’s revealing more to us now through all of the little
nuances in the way the stuff’s all playing out that my
father-in-law never could have envisioned.
And God give him the foundation, you understand?
Irvin Baxter, and to my knowledge, and I’m gonna brag on
him a little bit, but really I’m bragging on God, but God used
Irvin Baxter for this.
To my knowledge, I don’t know of anybody on the planet other than
Irvin Baxter that God gave this stuff to in great detail like
he did.
Since the book of Daniel and the book of Revelation was written.
Now you say, “Wow, you know, Dave, you really stepped out on
a limb there.”
I understand that, but I have studied them all.
And I know what God gave my father-in-law miraculously,
folks, and I just want you to understand that the things we
teach, we will never, ever, ever move off of what God gave my
father-in-law because I saw it miraculously happen.
And God started giving these things to my father-in-law back
in about 1964, 1965.
I was born in 1968.
My mom got in Irvin Baxter’s church in 19, I think it was
about 70, 76, 77, right in there.
And so, I knew Irvin Baxter pretty much my whole life.
And I knew him when God gave him some of these major
prophetic discoveries.
And so it was–it was just an amazing thing.
And throughout our “Understanding the End Time” DVD
series, you can see that I–basically, I come on there
and taught the lesson, but when it came to Irvin Baxter giving
the testimony of what God showed him, that had to be
Irvin Baxter.
So, I taught the lesson and did the updated version, and then my
father-in-law comes on and says, “Here’s how God showed me this
miraculously,” because it was a miraculous revelation from God.
It wasn’t that Irvin Baxter was any smarter or more spiritual
than the men and women before him who tried to figure all this
stuff out.
It was simply the timing of everything and all of this, all
of the accolades belong to God.
Because this is God’s Word and it’s simply time to be revealed.
We’re right here in the end time.
God said, Daniel, “Close up and seal your book.
It’s for the people of the time of the end.”
That’s where we’re at.
So, that brings me to my second point of the increase of
knowledge, the surge in Bible prophecy knowledge.
It’s one of the clearest signs to me, and I hope to you as
well, that we’re living in the final generation.
Just as Endtime Ministries has taught for decades now.
This year, we’re celebrating our 40th year since my father-in-law
wrote his first book, “A Message for the President.”
That put Endtime Ministries on the map, folks.
And this is not a vague or a general explosion of
human learning.
Though, like I said, science and technology, they have
advanced–just–it’s unreal.
It’s almost unimaginable how fast the increase of
knowledge is.
It’s just doubling, doubling, doubling.
But according to the Amplified Bible’s rendering in of Daniel
12:4, it is specifically knowledge of the purpose of God
as revealed by his prophets that will greatly increase in the
time of the end.
Daniel, Revelation, Zechariah, Ezekiel, Isaiah, what Jesus
taught in Matthew 24, and what many of the apostles taught.
Certainly, the apostle Peter, the apostle Paul.
So, God told the prophet Daniel, “But as for you, Daniel, conceal
these words, seal up the scroll until the time of the end–until
the end of time.”
And what he’s talking about here, he’s talking about the end
of the age.
He’s not talking about The Great White Throne Judgment.”
He said, many’s gonna go–in, Daniel 12:4 the Amplified.
Many will go back and forth and search anxiously through
the scroll.
And knowledge of the purpose of God will be revealed, as
revealed by his prophets will greatly increase.
So the scroll, it’s referring to the book of Daniel here, and by
extension, the entire body of prophetic Scripture.
Was deliberately sealed by God until the last days.
None of the apostles understood the writings of Daniel.
Daniel himself was told that he would not fully understand it
and Daniel 12 down verses about 8 and 9.
So, that seal has now
been broken for the final generation.
And the many who go back and forth and seek anxiously are
doing exactly that right now, and understanding is
exploding worldwide.
And I think that AI and all these things are having a part
in that because access to history and knowledge and
everything is just right at our fingertips.
And it’s really helping us to figure all this stuff out
in real-time.
And am I saying AI is some kind of a spiritual thing?
Absolutely not.
But when I’ve got to look back and use current events to show
how prophecies written 2000 to 2500 years ago are coming to
pass right now, it’s very easy for me to do when I can go to AI
and say, “Hey, give me a brief synopsis of this event
that happened.”
And how does that tie into Bible prophecy?
And it will give its version of it, but us having understood the
Bible prophecy, I can look at that and say, yeah, that makes
sense, that doesn’t, let’s pull that out, and it’s easy for me
to see how everything is doubling and even faster
right now.
So, why is this surge happening right now?
Well, we’ve always believed that God’s sovereignly timed this
increase so that the last day church would recognize the signs
and know how close we are to the return of Jesus Christ.
And Jesus Christ in John 14:29 said, “I tell you these things,
before they come to pass, that when they come to pass, you
might believe.
But some people say, “Oh, no, we can–nobody can understand
these things.”
Well, think of this, nobody up until a certain point in time
could understand these things.
The apostles never understood the writings of Daniel, but now
we’re right here at the very end, we can understand them.
Daniel, Jesus, the apostle Paul, and John all in Revelation 13
said, “You can understand these things in the end time.”
So, let’s look at that, how close we are to the return of
Jesus Christ.
Well, here’s how that prophecy is unfolding before our
very eyes.
Technology has removed many barriers to scriptural study.
And you say, “Well, what do you mean by that?”
Well, think about it.
Smartphones, Bible apps, online interlinear text, concordances,
AI assisted translation tools.
Let any believer instantly compare dozens of versions,
original Hebrew and Greek, and centuries of commentary.
Global translation projects have put the Bible into thousands
of languages.
What once required years in a seminary library is now
available 24/7 to anyone with internet access sitting in an
office, in your living room, in a library, wherever.
And this is–this is the searching anxious–anxiously
through the scroll on a global scale.
Now, the–I will tell you that you, there has to be, because
there’s a lot of people that have searched through all these
books and got it wrong.
So, there has to be spirit and truth.
Study the Word of God, but you–there also has to be the
spiritual element.
God, help–show me, help me understand these things.
And this, of course, this was Irvin Baxter’s role.
To my–and now he was a great pastor, a great father-in-law,
he’s a great everything, but as far as figuring out the
prophecies of the Bible, God used Irvin Baxter miraculously
to show him spiritually through miraculous revelation, what
these prophecies mean.
Did he figure it all out?
No, he did not.
That’s probably gonna be left to us or, you know, whoever.
If–you know, I believe it’s gonna either be us or we’ll have
to have a conversation about it in the Millennium, because this
thing’s fixing to wrap up.
But there’s gotta be the physical and the spiritual.
The Bible says God is a spirit, and they that worship him must
worship him in spirit and in truth.
The Word of God–the two ways you know God is through prayer
and study the Word of God.
And so, that’s the way you figure out these things.
You’re gonna go through it, you’ll be prayerful.
God’s gonna show you through divine revelation, and you’re
gonna study the Word of God.
It’s the only way it works.
So, you just study the Word of God and if you’re not in prayer,
it’s not gonna happen.
So, prophecy teaching also has gone from rare to everywhere.
I mean, think about it.
There’s books, videos, podcasts, conferences, daily broadcasts,
including Endtime’s own television and magazine
ministry, and everything else we do, the conferences and our
products and everything.
And we’ve reached millions who never would have heard these
truths a generation ago.
I stepped out of our college one time in downtown Jerusalem, and
a guy said, “Dave Robbins.”
And I said, hey, man, how you doing?
We shook hands, and he said, “Dude, I watch you guys on
YouTube all the time.”
And I said, where are you from? He goes, “Egypt.”
And he had been watching us for years on YouTube.
So, knowledge is just blowing up about Bible prophecy.
We’ve got people all over the world.
I get–I get emails and correspondence from literally
people all over the world all the time.
So, subjects that were once confined to just some kind of
big, thick, dusty theology book, they’re now discussed in small
groups, online forums, kitchen, family kitchens around
the world.
And Endtime Ministries has witnessed this firsthand the
hunger for understanding Revelation, Daniel, Matthew 24,
and all the other prophecy books, and the signs of the
times have never been greater.
Why is that?
Because it’s time.
The increase of knowledge right there in the End Time of the
plan of God and of the Bible prophecies.
And also, current events, they’re turning these obscure
prophecies into plain reality when you talk about world
government, world religion, all these different things.
Think about this.
Endtime Ministries has repeatedly pointed out how God
is using real world developments to illuminate the scriptures.
Think of it like this.
Let me give you a few examples.
Let’s go to, the miraculous reestablishment of Israel in
1948 and the regathering of the Jewish people, that fulfills
dozens of prophecies that were impossible before the
20th century.
Certainly global communications, satellite technology, and the
Internet fulfill the requirement of the whole world.
We’ll see certain End Time events.
Revelation 11:9-10, and Jesus said in Matthew 24: “This gospel
of the kingdom will be preached into the whole world, and then
the end will come.”
We right now have the tools to do that.
There are people who live in just third-world
destitute regions.
But they–but you can see them, they all have a cellphone.
Think about that.
They might be running around barefooted with hardly any
clothes on, and–but they can still have access to a
cell phone.
I don’t think that’s by accident.
I think some people mean it for bad because they want to track
people and do all this other stuff, collect their data, but I
think we can use it for good because most people have a cell
phone and I can witness to people and share the gospel of
the kingdom of God right here on a phone, folks.
It happens all the time for Endtime Ministries.
And then also think about digital currencies, biometric
IDs, central bank digital currencies, the
tracking systems.
They’re rapidly paving the way for the economic control
described in Revelation 13:16-18.
No one’s going to be able to buy or sell without this mark,
without this unique identification number.
And then the push towards a one-world–the one-world
economic and political systems, globalism, certainly the world
government, it matches the prophecies of a revived Holy
Roman Empire and the rise of the Antichrist
ten-nation confederacy.
And then there’s the moral, social, and the
geopolitical chaos.
Jesus said–he warned of wars, rumors of wars, lawlessness, the
love of many will grow–growing cold, mirrors Jesus’s exact
description of the last days in Matthew 24.
And then certainly, the Messiah coming.
These are all Bible prophecies, the Messiah coming, the Messiah
being cut off, Je–Jerusalem and the second temple destroyed in
70 AD.
The great falling away, the white horse spirit, the green
horse spirit, the Holy Roman Empire, Russia being created as
a nation, the bear in Daniel 7, the black horse spirit,
capitalism, Great Britain, the United States, Daniel 7,
Germany, the red horse, communism.
All of these nations, the four-headed leopard,
Germany, in Daniel 7.
War religion, the First Trumpet, the World War 1,
the Holocaust, that’s prophesied in the Bible.
Ezekiel 37, Ezekiel’s boneyard, the Second Trumpet,
World War III.
The–I’m sorry, the sixth- -the Second Trumpet
would be World War II.
World government, the rebirth of the nation of Israel,
the desert blossoming like a rose, 1948 to present.
The Six-Day War.
The Israel capturing Judea.
The Third Trumpet, the Chernobyl nuclear accident in 1986.
The Fourth Trumpet with the Berlin Wall being destroyed, the
healing of the deadly wound, the same thing.
The Fifth Trumpet, the Iraq war with Saddam Hussein in 1991, the
rebirth of the Holy Roman Empire in 2009, and on and on and on.
I could go through the red heifer and the–what’s happening
with me and Joel Golden and the IDF, the establishment of our
college in Israel.
I mean, just–we could go on and on and on.
Folks, none of this is a coincidence.
It is God unsealing the scroll exactly as he promised.
