Truth Over Sensation: Understanding the Mark of the Beast Before It’s Too Late

Male announcer: Previously on “The Endtime Show.”
Dave Robbins: The things that are kind of a gray area, I can
let God figure that stuff out, but when it talks about eternal
consequence, it’s just absolute, very clear, open.
God says, “Boom, boom, boom.
This is the way it’s gonna be.”
So Scripture presents this as a defining line in the sand for
us, a moment of declared loyalty during the final three and
one-half years.
And, you know, technology, it may build the infrastructure,
but worship is what seals the deal.

Dave: Welcome back, everybody, We’re gonna get into some
of–the mark of the beast in this prophetic timeline here,
and you know, prophecies are–they’re not just a pile of
some random predictions.
Again, this is–a lot of people make it out to be almost a fairy
tale or some kind of, you know, weird sci-fi book and–I mean
seriously, I’ve seen it all, believe me, and–but it is a
very specific set of events that will happen over thousands of
years, and about almost 30% of the Bible, almost 1/3 of the
Bible, is Bible prophecy.
Many of those were concerning the First Coming of
Jesus Christ.
And Jesus Christ, when he came the first time 2,000 years ago,
he fulfilled every single one of those Messianic prophecies, but
then the Bible also says that he’s coming back a second time.
And the angels–when he ascended into heaven in Acts chapter 1,
the Bible says the disciples just stand there looking up at
him, and two men showed up in white, angels, and they said,
“What are you guys doing looking into the heavens?
He’s coming back just in the same manner as you’ve seen
him go.”
It was a prophecy about Jesus’s return.
Now, it was 2,000 years in the future, but it was a prophecy.
And there have been–there are about 1,000 prophecies now
concerning events that will transpire before the Second
Coming, things that happen at the Second Coming, the
1,000-year Millennium Reign, the Great White Throne Judgment, and
then our eternal existence.
There’s about 1,000 prophecies in the Bible focused on that.
And you say, “Well, how in the world was that written?
Those guys, they just had an imagination.”
No, they didn’t have an imagination.
God knows the end from the beginning.
God is never–was never created.
God’s an eternal spirit.
He’s all the way behind us, and he’s all the way ahead of us
forever and ever.
There’s no beginning. There’s no end.
So this little short 7,000 years of human existence, God laid
this out in the Bible very, very clearly and all the events that
transpire on that timeline.
And folks, listen to me.
We are watching the events occur right before our very eyes that
are supposed to happen on this timeline just prior to that
Second Coming.
That’s where we’re at.
And so prophecy, it’s not some just bunch of random predictions
that somebody came up with to write some big, thick book.
There is a sequence of events, a progression, a timeline moving
forward to a defined climax here.
Bible prophecy foretells that there’s a peace agreement
between the Israelis and the Palestinians that will mark the
beginning of a final seven-year period leading to the battle of
Armageddon and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
There is a final seven-year period.
That’s not the Great Tribulation.
The Great Tribulation is the final three and one-half years
of that final seven-year period.
There’s no scriptures in the Bible, not one, for a seven-year
Great Tribulation.
There’s not one scripture in the Bible for a seven-year
Great Tribulation.
There is a final seven-year period.
The Great Tribulation or the wrath of Satan is that last
three and a half years.
Then the wrath of God is poured out at the very end.
So as long taught by Endtime Ministries, this covenant,
this Israeli-Palestinian peace agreement that is mentioned in
Daniel 9:27 and it’s talked about in many different places
in the Bible, that starts this prophetic countdown, this final
seven years.
And that’s gonna be a two-state solution between the Israelis
and the Palestinians.
They talk about it in the news every single day, and that
starts that seven-year countdown followed by the rise of the
Antichrist, the Abomination of Desolation when the e–at the
midway point of that final seven-year period, that’s when
the Antichrist stands in a rebuilt Jewish temple,
proclaiming to be God, causes the sacrifices to stop.
And then halfway through when the Antichrist comes to power,
and he’s re–the Bible says he’s revealed at that point in 2
Thessalonians chapter 2, that’s–whoever the pope of the
Roman Catholic Church is at that time, he’s gonna be the
false prophet.
And this union of politics and religion, this marriage of
politics and religion right there in the end, that is the
Holy Roman Empire, the continuation.
It was already reborn in November of 2009.
That’s what’s gonna run the world government, that union of
marriage of politics and religion all the way to the
Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
Well, during that final three and one-half year point, the
three and one-half years, which is the wrath of Satan on the
earth through the Antichrist and the false prophet, that’s
gonna–when the full implementation of the mark of
the beast system is going to be implemented.
That’s the–during the Great Tribulation, that final three
and one-half years.
And so that sequence, it’s not just kind of some minor detail
in the book of Revelation.
You understand–you know, well, it’s really a safeguard is what
it is, why?
Because the–there are people–obviously, you guys know
what the Bible teaches about a post-tribulation Rapture.
Many people believe that the–in Revelation 4:1, when the angel
said, “Come up, hither, John, and I will show you things that
will be hereafter,” the vast majority of people that would
call themselves Christian believe the Rapture happens in
Revelation 4:1 and that the church is gonna be gone when
Revelation 13 happens on the earth.
They believe that that happens during the final seven years of
Great Tribulation.
Again, there’s no such thing as a seven-year tribulation,
number one.
Number two, the church is still here through all of that, and
so–because the book of Revelation is simply four
different accounts.
It’s the revealing, the unveiling of Jesus Christ.
There are at least four different accounts of the Second
Coming of Jesus Christ and the battle of Armageddon; Revelation
6, Revelation 11, Revelation 14, and Revelation 16, all the way
through 16 and 19.
Seventeen and eighteen are parenthetical chapters.
They’re wedged in between the story, so 16–read right over
into 19.
That’s the end of the battle of Armageddon.
That’s talked about four times in the book of Revelation.
So the Revelation 1:19, John, in the book, here’s what you’re
gonna write, things which you have seen, things which are, and
things which will be hereafter.
Revelation 1, 2, and 3 are a vision that John had seen,
chapter 1, of Jesus Christ, and chapters 2 and 3 are letters,
seven letters written to seven churches in Asia Minor while
John was out on the Isle of Patmos.
And then when he comes off, history records he was the
overseer somewhat of those churches.
He delivers the letters.
And then in Revelation 4:1, the angel says, “Hey, come on.”
Now it’s time for the prophetic portion of the book of
Revelation, and, “Come up hither, John.
I will show you what will be hereafter.”
That starts the prophetic portion.
It does not mean in any way, shape, or form–for that–for
Revelation 4:1 to remain–to mean the church has been taken
at that point, that would contradict a plethora of other
scriptures in the Bible that says there’s a
post-tribulation Rapture.
Okay, here’s the key point.
Everybody that believes that the Rapture is gonna happen in
Revelation 4:1, they believe the church is gonna be gone when the
seals are opened, when the trumpets sound and all those
events occur, and when the Revelation 13 happens and that
the church is all gonna be gone, but we’re not.
We’re gonna be here through all that.
Four of the first–the first four seals have already been
opened, and those spirits are in the earth, controlling the
ideologies of mankind, and the first five trumpets have already
occurred: World War 1, World War 2, the Chernobyl nuclear
accident in 1986, the tearing down–the speeding up of time
with the tearing down of the Berlin Wall, the process of
globalization in 1989, the Iraq war with Saddam Hussein in 1991.
The first five trumpets have already occurred, and so now
we’re watching the sixth trumpet war and–but also, in the near
future, we’re watching the–in Revelation 13, talks about the
establishment of an endtime world governing body.
That government has been being established for decades now.
It’s called the New World Order, the liberal international order.
The United Nations is the seat of that world governing body,
and their charter was signed back in 1945.
Then Revelation 13, the world religious system, all these
religions of the world being caught up into this–sucked up
into this huge vacuum where they’re gonna have one–let’s
just say–you know, they’re not gonna say, “Well, you’ve got to
necessarily convert.
You can believe however you want, but we’re all gonna get
along, love each other, and we’re gonna
tolerate everything.”
And like Pope Francis said just before he passed away, all
religions lead–are a path to God.
That absolutely is diametrically opposed to what the Word of
God says.
Jesus Christ said, “I’m the way, the truth, and the life.
No man comes to the Father but by me.”
And so you can see how this world religious system is
forming, and then the Bible says there’s gonna be an economic
sanctioning system that will be used to force people
into compliance.
They’ll be able to cut off your ability to function in society.
Now, most people believe the church is gonna be gone when
all this happens, but I’m here to tell you I can prove
conclusively the church will be here through all of
these things.
So that’s why programs like this are very important.
I’m not teaching you these prophecies from a perspective of
we’re gonna be gone and all of this is left to Israel.
No, that’s simply not the case.
The church will be here through all of this, but we’re gonna
trust God.
The Bible says, “Take no thought what ye shall eat, drink,
or wear.
Your heavenly Father knows you have need of these things, but
seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all
of these things will be added unto you.”
We’re not going through these endtimes in fear mode, scared to
death, ready to just throw in the towel, and I’m gonna go hide
in a foxhole and just endure the endtime.
No, the–in Revelation chapter 11, 32 and 33, the Bible says
during the time of the Antichrist, that the
church–they that do know their God will be strong and do
exploits, and they that understand among the people
shall instruct many.
That’s the job of the church in the endtime.
We’re not gonna be hiding away in a foxhole, some weak,
anemic organization.
We’re gonna be on the move.
The Bible says that the gates of hell won’t even be able to
prevail against the church.

Endtime.com/events to see when
Dave will be in a location near you.
Dave: So there’s gonna be great endtime revivals, but I’m
telling you these things because we–it’s preparation.
It’s a safeguard.
There’s some things you cannot do.
And if you’ve never been taught about it, then it’ll get a
little bit dicey, right?
It–you know, this–these safeguards that we talk about
really keeps us from attaching prophetic labels to every
headline because we–all these prophecies are laid out for us.
It prevents–well, I should say it’ll prevent those that
understand the prophecies from sensationalism.
Here’s the deal.
Let me talk to you guys something really quickly about
something that I face all the time, me, Doug, Vince, everybody
here at Endtime.
I have people contact us.
People are sending us videos, books, magazines, all kinds of
stuff, and I love it.
And I go through as much of it as I can.
Some stuff I can go through a couple pages, and I’m like, “No,
I–it’s–uh-uh, no way.
Nah, not gonna happen.
There’s no sense in me even reading the book.”
And that’s because when somebody doesn’t understand the
prophecies of the Bible, then they have to resort
to sensationalism.
Sensationalism would be making something out of it, make it
seem exciting and blowing up, and you know, the pomp and
circumstance and the Fourth of July.
And I’ve got to get that to keep your–somebody who doesn’t
understand the prophecies, they’ve got to resort to that to
keep your attention, because “I really don’t understand the
prophecies, but I got to say something to keep you watching
me, so woo, it’s got–it’s this and that, and it’s–” you know?
But the fact is, is that I don’t need to sensationalize the Bible
at all.
The Bible is sensational enough for me.
God–the Bible, it’s a living Word, and so what applied to
them 2,000 years ago, it applies to me today.
I can glean from all of it, and so that’s what I’m doing.
I’m taking those principles, applying them to my life.
We’re gonna go to heaven, right?
So we don’t have to resort to sensationalism.
Understand–God wanted us to be able to understand these things.
I know a lot of people that say, “Man, nobody can understand the
prophecy of the Bible, so what’s the point?
Let’s just go out and try to win souls.”
I agree with the soul-winning aspect of it, but the Bible says
in Revelation 19 that the testimony of Jesus Christ is the
spirit of prophecy.
It was pretty important to Jesus Christ that–Jesus said in John
14:29, “I tell you these things before they come to pass, that
when they come to pass, you might believe.”
He knew that prophecy was one of the easiest and most effective
ways we could use to build people’s faith in the Word
of God.
Jesus said, “I tell you them– these things before they
come to pass.
When they come to pass, you’ll believe.”
If I can use current events to show you how 2,000 to 2,500
years ago year-old prophecies are coming to pass right now, it
will build your faith in the only book that I can use to
gather those prophecies from, and that’s the Bible.
So I can help build your faith in the Word of God, and then I
can show you Jesus Christ is coming back before very long to
establish his kingdom here on the earth.
Let me show you how to be a part of that kingdom.
That’s called teaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
and that’s what this is all about.
But God did not want to leave us with blindfolders on the church
walking through the endtime.
He laid all these prophecies out in great detail.
He said, “Okay, here’s what’s gonna happen, then this, then
this, then this.
Church, you be watching, you be mindful, and you be
helping people.
Help them to understand these things so they don’t fall prey
to some of these big potholes that are coming in the near
future, to some of these snares of the enemy, and make sure they
can navigate through some of these things.
And the church is gonna be strong and do great exploits in
these endtimes.”
So this–we don’t have to resort to, you know, every–to the,
“Oh, this–every headline in the news is prophecy.”
Some of them have nothing to do with Bible prophecy.
And then it prevents sensationalism, and it also
helps us to interpret the current developments with great
clarity instead of panic.
I know it’s coming, but I’ve got my hands on the Lord’s hands,
and we’re gonna make it.
Now, when we talk about–we’ve got to have some discernment.
So what is prophecy?
What is, you know, pure–possible precursors to
this stuff, and what is pure speculation?
To stay grounded, we must draw some careful distinctions, and
these are the thing–we’re gonna deal with this all the way to
the end, folks.
So what the clearly prophetic–what is certain?
Well, there’s a global system that will exist that can deny
buying or selling of those who refuse the mark of the beast.
That system will operate under the authority of the Antichrist
and partially under the authority of the false prophet,
believe it or not.
During the final three and one-half years of that final
seven-year period, the mark is gonna be inseparably tied to
worship and allegiance of the world governing leader and
its–and the world governing system and–but to receive it is
going to carry grave eternal consequences.
Now, these are not theories.
These are explicit statements in the Bible.
Everything else has got to be measured against that foundation
that’s been laid.
That’s the Word of God.
It’s never gonna change, period.
The Bible says heaven and earth is gonna pass away, but that
Word is gonna stand forever.
Now, some possible precursors or let’s say
probable infrastructure.
Okay, digital identity systems.
It’s all this stuff that–every one of these is talked about.
I can pull up hundreds and hundreds of articles on this
stuff, digital ID systems.
They’re trying to move us off of cash, move us on to a total
digital society, biometric verifications, centralized
databases, and you–many of you have walked into like a cashless
store or these cashless payment platforms, Alipay and Apple Pay
and all this other stuff.
I–Venmo.
I can get work done on my house, and you know, do you want me to
just send you a check?
“No, you can pay right here on–pay on your phone, blah,
blah, blah.”
And programmable currencies, central bank digital currencies.
They’re building the technical scaffolding, let’s say.
They’re laying the foundations for a world where access to
commerce can be granted to you or revoked with just
a keystroke.
And these developments, they’re not the mark of the beast
itself, but they demonstrate that the infrastructure required
by Revelation 13 is no longer theoretical.
It is technologically achievable, but then there’s
speculation, and these have got to be held very carefully.
There is–you know, I can only speculate at this point who the
Antichrist is.
I can only speculate at this point, you know, how some of
the–you know, what starts the World War 3, and, you know,
who’s the Antichrist and–but the precise form of the mark of
the beast, whether it’s visible or invisible, a microchip, a
biometric identifier, a wearable device, or something else, I
can’t declare that with certainty because I simply don’t
know at this point.
Scripture indicates a physical mechanism that–Revelation 16,
they’ll all be given a mark, but it does not provide the,
obviously, step one, two, three, these technical schematics.
But we must not claim more detail than the Bible gives.
That’s why I do Q&A sessions at all–just about every prophecy
conference I do.
We have Open Line Friday here at Endtime.
I’m on the phone and answering emails and just all the time.
But there are many times–I should say there are some times
when I have to say, “I don’t know.
I simply don’t know.”
And there’s nothing wrong with telling someone, “I don’t know,”
because there’s–if you–when you start to sensationalize and
fabricate answers, then you’re gonna get off into a ditch
because somebody–you’re gonna get caught, and somebody’s gonna
say–you know, you’ll start to sensationalize and do a lot of
different things, and you’ll start to say, “Well, the
prophecy means this.”
And then when that doesn’t come to pass, then what?
Oh, man, I–you know, yikes.
So we don’t sensationalize.
We teach what we know.
You’re gonna–in the endtime, we’re gonna go off what we
know, and the rest of it, it’s speculation, I don’t know, and
then we move on because some of the things you will have to live
through before we can interpret those prophecies.
Until the–when my father-in-law, Irvin Baxter–God
was helping him to understand the seven trumpets.
God did not help him to understand those until after
1986, the year I graduated high school.
It was in the early ’90s.
It was impossible for him to understand the third trumpet
until it had happened, the Chernobyl nuclear accident.
The Bible says that this would be Revelation chapter 8, that
the–John said, “I saw a star from heaven.
I saw a star fall from heaven by the name of Wormwood.”
And by–because of that, the waters were made bitter and a
lot of different characteristics of that.
So there’s no way that my father-in-law could have figured
that out that specific until the event occurred.
Well, it wasn’t possible, but once the Chernobyl nuclear
accident happened and people started sending my father-in-law
documents and news articles and things that said, “Hey, did you
know that Chernobyl–or that Wormwood actually
means Chernobyl?”
And he thought, “Man, I–you know, it might be the Chernobyl
nuclear accident.”
And he thought, “I don’t know, you know?
I just–I’m trying to figure all this stuff out.”
Well, he’s sitting, writing a manual one time about some of
this stuff, and he’s asking the Lord, “You gotta help me figure
out these seven trumpets.
I don’t know.
I’m trying to–you’ve been showing me all
these prophecies.”
And he had started the magazine by that time, and he’s trying to
figure these things out.
And the Lord said, “You know that stuff you’ve heard about–”
he’s actually in his office working and writing on some of
this stuff, and the Lord said, “You know the stuff you’ve been
trying to figure out about the seven trumpets?
The Chernobyl stuff that people have been telling you about, the
Wormwood-Chernobyl correlation, you need to check into that.”
And my father-in-law said, “Lord, I’m busy.
I’m trying to figure this stuff out.”
You know, he’s–and they’re having a–he didn’t hear an
audible voice, but you know when the Lord’s talking to you.
And the Lord said, “Call the librarian.
She’ll do the work for you.”
So my father-in-law reaches over.
He’s sitting at his desk.
This actually happened, folks, I’m telling you.
Reached over, picked up his phone, dialed the
Morrison-Reeves Library in Richmond, Indiana, told the
lady, “I’m studying Bible prophecy.
I’m trying to figure some things out.
Do you know anything about the correlation between the word
Wormwood and Chernobyl and the Chernobyl nuclear accident,
blah, blah, blah?”
And she said–or no, no, I’m sorry.
He said, “Do you know anything–the correlation
between the Wormwood and Chernobyl?”
She goes, “Oh, yeah.”
She took off.
“Wormwood in Ukrainian means Chernobyl, Chernobylnik, and
that it turns people’s tongue black.
They use it for medicinal purposes,” and she rattled off
this big old thing.
And he said, “How–and it’s pretty–you know, pretty crazy
that you know this much about these types of–this topic.”
And she–he said, “How’d you know?”
And she said, “I’m studying my doctorate in Russian, and I’ve
been studying these things.”
God miraculously helped my father-in-law to figure all this
stuff out, but until that happened, there’s no way that
my–that God could have showed my father-in-law what it was
because it hadn’t happened yet.
Well, that’s where we’re at when we get to some of these
prophecies in Revelation 13.
We are watching the ongoing fulfillment of a
world government.
We’re watching the ongoing fulfillment of a world
religious system.
Those have been happening for decades, and right now we’re
watching precursors to the establishment of the mark of
the beast.
But until we live through some of these things, until they want
to coerce you to put a mark of identification on your person so
that you can participate in society, then at that point, I
can come to the radio and say–and, you know, I will know
when the–where we’re out on the timeline.
“Hey, man, they signed the peace agreement.
Now we’re in the final seven years.
Now this stuff’s really gonna start ramping up.
We’re on the backside of World War 3.
The world government’s really coming into its own now.
It’s really turning into a true dictatorial, totalitarian one
world governing body, and I know the guys that were involved in
the signing of the peace agreement.
Now we’re–they’re starting to build the Third Temple.”
Okay, when we start seeing those things happening, then we can
really hone in and say, “Okay, folks, now here’s the deal.
They’re gonna be trying to coerce you to take a mark of
identification on your person.
Don’t do it.”
Without the knowledge of the prophecies of the Bible stuff,
folks, we would be absolutely clueless with these things
happening in the world.
We’ll think it’s just–eh, it’s just a normal occurrence, but
once you understand the prophecy of the Bible, then you can say,
“No, can’t do that.
I can’t go there, can’t participate in that, but I’ve
got to do this, this, and this.”
And so you understand the importance of Bible prophecy and
how detailed it is and the ability to understand it.
