Business as Usual—While Bible Prophecy Is Unfolding Before Our Eyes
Dave Robbins: In the days of Noah, life pretty much went on
as usual.
They were eating, drinking, marrying until the flood came.
In the days of Lot, people bought.
They sold.
They planted and built until fire fell from heaven.
Well, Jesus said that this same pattern will mark the day the
Son of Man is revealed.
Folks, I’m going to show you how we are living in those days
right now on this edition of “The Endtime Show.”

Dave: Good afternoon, everybody.
I’m Dave Robbins with Endtime Ministries, and I do thank you
for joining me on this edition of “The Endtime Show.”
You know, Jesus warned us plainly in Matthew chapter 24
that as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the
coming of the Son of Man; and he said that people are gonna be
eating, drinking, marrying, carrying on with life.
And they knew not until the flood came, not because there
was no warning but because they refused to simply just listen
and pay attention.
Scripture tells us in 2 Peter chapter 2, verse 5 that Noah was
a preacher of righteousness.
He was spreading the word about the coming flood and yet his
messages were–they were ignored by people.
People made fun of him.
They mocked him.
Jesus continued the warning in Luke 17, saying the last days
would be that–it would also resemble the days of Lot.
Society would be, you know, just buying and selling, planting and
building while sin was normalized and judgment was
unthinkable to many.
“Oh, there’s no judgment coming.
We’ll just live however we want.”
But Lot warned Sodom, but his words fell on deaf ears.
He warned his son-in-laws, didn’t he?
Until fire and brimstone fell from heaven.
The apostles said this same pattern would define the
end time.
2 Peter chapter 3, verse 3 through 4 tells us that in the
last days there would be scoffers that would come along.
They would be mocking the promise–or the prophecy of
Christ’s return and they would be saying, “Hey, all
things continue.
I–you know, I’ve heard this since the beginning of time, but
all things just continue as they are–as they were,” right?
And then Paul warned in 2 Timothy chapter 4 that people
would no longer endure sound doctrine, that they would turn
away their ears from the truth and seek messages that tell them
what they–just what they wanna hear.
And so this isn’t new, but God said it long ago all the way
back in Jeremiah chapter 6, verse 10.
He said that their ear is uncircumcised, and they
cannot hearken.
The Word of the Lord is unto them.
It’s just a–it’s a reproach.
They don’t wanna hear the Word of God, and God’s warnings were
treated as–almost as an offense.
“It’s offensive for you to warn me about what’s coming.
I don’t wanna hear that.
I don’t wanna change the way I’m living.
I’m comfortable the way I’m living.
Don’t tell me about what’s coming ’cause I’m not gonna pay
attention to you.”
And now here we are in 2026.
There are wars raging.
Lawlessness is increasing in our streets.
Moral confusion, let’s say, is accelerating and prophecy
unfolds right before our very eyes and yet–the establishment
of a world government, a world religion, precursor to the mark
of the beast, it’s happening all around us and yet the world
carries on as if judgment is almost–that it’s not coming or
that it’s almost impossible to come that–“You know, we’ve
heard about this forever, but it’s never really affected me in
the way that God has judged the world.
And so that’s almost impossible,” right?
But just like in Noah’s day and just like in the days of Lot,
folks, the Bible doesn’t say that the last generation would
not be warned.
It says that many would not listen or hearken unto the Word
of God.
I want you to–I’m gonna slow down my pace here a little bit
and make sure everybody gets this today.
The Bible is about 30% Bible prophecy, not quite one-third of
the entire Bible.
Thirty-one thousand plus verses are prophecy.
And many of them are Messianic prophecies concerning the first
coming of Jesus Christ, but the vast majority of them are
concerning the second coming of Jesus Christ when he would come
back and his wrath would be poured out at the battle of
Armageddon and he would establish his kingdom here on
the earth.
Many things will happen right there at the Second Coming.
And, folks, listen, the signs are very, very clear.
You say, “Well, I can’t tell about any prophecy that’s
being fulfilled.”
It’s simply because you don’t understand the prophecies or
you’ve chosen to ignore them because they’re happening all
around us.
Most of the major news stories going on in the world today,
most of the headlines–not all of them but most of them in one
way or another I can tie into a Bible prophecy, the major news
headlines in the world.
And so the signs are very clear.
The warnings are sounding, if you’re listening.
And according to Jesus himself, when the world looks like this,
the revealing of the Son of Man is near.
You know–and so this is what I’m gonna talk about today on
our program, and I wanna make sure that we’re all paying
attention to what we should be because just like there was a
time when they come and the Messiah was gonna come–
Jesus Christ was gonna come the first time, most of the world
missed it ’cause they didn’t understand the prophecies or
they chose to ignore them.
Well, the Bible says it’s gonna be just like that at the time of
the Second Coming, and I wanna make sure–Endtime Ministries
wants to make sure that everybody is warned and they
have an opportunity to make a decision in their life to
prepare for the soon return of Jesus Christ.
Okay.
We’ll get there in just a moment.
You know, for several years Endtime leased part of
our building.
Many of you know this.
We leased part of our building to another organization and as
part of that arrangement we were able to use some of our
studio–they were able to use some of our studio and broadcast
equipment and that helped us stay on the air every single
day, and that arrangement recently ended and with that
some of the equipment was gone that we need.
And so we’re still broadcasting, but right now we’re operating on
kind of a temporary system that was never designed to carry the
full load of daily television, radio, streaming, and–you know,
it’s holding for now but kind of fragile, let’s say.
At the same time, in Jerusalem the Jerusalem Prophecy College
is facing a similar challenge.
The technology over there–we own the college, but the
technology there has been pushed hard for nearly a decade and you
know technology, man, it’s just–you got to currently
update it, and they quit–you know, they quit being able to
update things and a lot of things are happening.
It’s just constantly growing and moving.
You got to change with the times, especially with this
technology; and much of it is reaching the end of its life,
the equipment that we have in Israel.
So between those two needs, you know, Endtime Ministries is
looking at several hundred thousands–thousand dollars.
But here’s why I’m telling you about this today because a
partner of ours has stepped up to match every dollar given up
to $65,000, and that means whatever you give is
immediately doubled.
Fifty dollars becomes a hundred dollars, five hundred dollars
becomes a thousand.
And that match helps to stabilize our–the broadcast
system here in Texas and re-equip the Jerusalem Prophecy
College in Israel, which, man, we use it just all the time.
I mean, what–Doug and I are on there teaching on Thursday
mornings, and they–there are many things that happen out of
that college.
But this isn’t about, you know, equipment.
That’s just a tool.
It’s about being ready for what’s ahead and keeping the
message going out strong.
So if you believe in the mission, I know that there are
thousands of you that do, and you’re able to help, you can
give at endtime.com/2X or call 1-800-363-8463.
And that’s endtime.com/2X or 800-363-8463.
Every dollar matters, and right now every dollar is doubled.
So very, very important need.
This is a listener-supported ministry, and you guys have been
so faithful to help us spread the Word around the world.
We’ve reached tens and tens of thousands of people.
We’ve seen people born again, prepare for the second coming of
Jesus Christ; and the thing is only gonna grow.
And I know many of you are along for the ride with us, and very
thankful for your support over the years.
Dave: One of the most frequently-asked questions we
receive at Endtime Ministries is, “Why do you guys teach the
Rapture happens after the Great Tribulation?”
Should we be passively waiting to be taken at any moment or
actively preparing for the greatest revival in history?
Paul states plainly it will not occur until after the man of
sin, the Antichrist, is revealed, and that will not
happen until God declares it is time.
I will walk you through a timeline of the final 7 years.
The Rapture, the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, and the Second
Coming of Jesus Christ is one continuous event.
It’s not an event separated by 7 years.

Dave: Back to the lesson.
Just as it was in the days of Noah, just as it was in the days
of Lot.
In Luke, what is it, chapter 17, I think it’s 26 through 30,
Jesus said, “And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will
also be in the days of the Son of Man.”
And they ate, they drank, they married wives, they were giving
in marriage until the day that Noah entered into the ark and
the flood came and destroyed them all.
Just business as usual.
The Lord said, likewise, as it also was in the days of Lot,
back with Sodom and Gomorrah, they ate, they drank, they
bought, they sold, and they planted, and they built.
Everything just as normal, right?
Societal conditions were horrific.
But in the da–Jesus was saying but as in the days of–on the
day of–Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone
from heaven and destroyed them all, even so will it be in the
day when the Son of Man is revealed and–you know, as it
was in the days of Noah and Lot, think about this.
I want to take you back to the days of Noah.
The–and we’re not gonna do it as some fable as a lot of people
would like you to believe, not as some kind of
children’s illustration.
No.
But I wanna do it today as a warning written in Scripture,
Jesus Christ’s words for the last days.
Now, the Bible–back in Genesis chapter 6, verse 5, the Bible
says, “And God saw that the wickedness of man–”
Now, remember Jesus said, “Just like it was in the days of Noah,
that’s what it’s gonna be like just before I come my
second time.”
The Bible says, “And God saw the wickedness of man, that it was
great in the earth.”
Now, think about–I’m telling you that story, but think
about today.
“And that every imagination and the thoughts of his heart was
only evil continually.”
Societal conditions during Noah’s time and think of 2026.
Violence filled the land.
Corruption was everywhere.
Evil was no longer shocking, but it was just routine.
To many people, it was just normal.
Tell a lie. Who cares?
You know, do a de–you know, do a deal under the table and
be–not be above board about things, let’s say, not be honest
and it would become just kind of normal to people.
But that’s not normal scripturally, and Scripture
tells us something sobering in Genesis chapter 6, verse 6.
It says, “And it repented the Lord that he had made man on
the earth.”
So very serious, desperate situation here.
And it grieved the Lord at his heart.
So guess what?
Judgment’s coming.
I’m in Genesis chapter 6 here.
But before judgment ever fell, God spoke, didn’t he?
In Genesis chapter 6, verse 8 God said, “But Noah found grace
in the ey–” The Bible says and–which is God’s Word,
“But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.”
So one man in a world drowning in sin–they did whatever they
felt like doing, but they were drowning in sin before the
rain fell.
God warned Noah of what was coming and said in Genesis 6,
verses 13 through 14, “The end of all flesh is come before me,
for the earth is filled with violence through them; and
behold, I will destroy them with the earth and–”
“But here’s what I want you to do, Noah.
I want you to make an ark of gopher wood.
You’re gonna make a big ship, a big boat; and I’m gonna
save you.”
God did not strike without a warning.
He did not judge without having mercy, okay?
But what he did, he commanded Noah to build an ark slowly and
very publicly.
Everybody wondered, “What in the world are you doing building
this thing out here in the middle of the woods,” right?
And it was in view of everybody watching, the whole world.
And Scripture tells us in 2 Peter chapter 2, verse 5 that
Noah was a preacher of righteousness.
So that means that while Noah built the ark, he was
warning people.
He was preaching, “There’s a flood coming.”
And, you know, year after year as the ark the be–was being
built higher and higher, the message grew louder.
It was–everybody could see it.
And, you know, every beam of wood that was put in place, it
preached repentance because he was preaching repentance and
every time he would nail a board up everybody thought, “Man, why
is he doing this?”
And he said–“He tells us this flood’s coming; but yeah, right,
we’ve never seen that.
I’ve never seen it during my lifetime, so that’s–there’s
no way.”
And–but with every hammer that hit on a spike, it declared
judgment was coming and salvation was available.
Noah was a righteousness preacher.
But here’s the thing, everybody.
Jesus said just as it was in the days of Noah, that’s the way
it’s gonna be before the coming of the Son of Man, the
Second Coming.
The people did not listen.
Noah preached and preached and preached decade after decade,
but people didn’t listen.
They heard the sound of Noah’s voice, but they rejected the
truth of his words.
Jesus himself described that generation in Matthew chapter 24
down through 37 and 39.
He said, “But as of–as the days of Noah were, so also the coming
of the Son of Man will be.
For as in the days that were before the flood, they were
eating, drinking, marrying, and giving to marriage.”
It was just–they were just going along.
They weren’t heeding the warnings of Noah the prophet.
“There’s a flood coming.
God showed me there’s a flood coming.
Judgment is coming to the world.”
They didn’t pay any attention to him.
“Yeah, right.
We’ve never seen it in our lifetime.
So, Noah, you’re crazy.”
Even though Noah was preaching the Word of God to them.
He was telling them–he was prophesying straight from God to
them, “Here’s what’s coming.”
But they still wouldn’t listen, and they knew not until the
flood came and took them all away.
They had a chance, but they wouldn’t pay any attention to
the prophet.
They knew not not because they were uninformed but because they
refused to listen.
Oh, man, I don’t ever wanna be in that spot.
And so because they wouldn’t listen, then they
weren’t prepared.
Well, when the ark was finished, Scripture tells us something
very chilling actually.
It’s in–let’s see, I’m gonna go up to the beginning of
Genesis chapter 7.
The Bible says, “And the Lord God said unto Noah,
‘Come now and all thy house, and you’re gonna get in the ark.'”
And then Genesis 7:16 the Bible says, “And the Lord shut
him in.”
The Lord shut the door.
Noah didn’t shut the door.
People from the outside didn’t shut the door.
God himself shut the door.
And the people thought, you know, “Who cares?
Noah’s just being crazy again.
He’s shutting the door.
He’s just trying to see if the door works,” right?
The problem is people were standing there looking around
and one of them felt a raindrop hit him on his head, and they
thought, “What in the world was that?”
And then more raindrops and the rain began to fall, and what
Noah had been prophesying to them began to come to pass.
They had never seen a flood ever, but now they’re
experiencing this and the whole world is going to be
flooded now.
And Noah told them, “Judgment’s coming.”
They made fun of him. They mocked him.
Genesis chapter 7, verse 11 and 12 says that all the fountains
of the great deep were broken up and the windows of heaven were
opened and the rain was upon the earth 40 days and 40 nights.
The floodwaters just rose higher than anyone imagined, and
laughter and mocking and jesting and making fun of Moses.
Well, that turned into terror.
Mockery turned into screams.
And those who ignored the warnings, they now searched
desperately for safety, but it was too late.
The door wa–to the ark was sealed shut by the very hand of
God, and there was no opening that door.
Once God closed the door, the opportunity for salvation
was over.
Well, Scripture says in Genesis 7, verse 21 through 23 and all
flesh died that moved upon the earth and every living substance
was destroyed, and Noah only remained alive and they that
were in the ark with him.
Inside the ark, you know, it was dark.
It was shaking and rattling around as they were floating,
and it–you know, it moaned and groaned and–but it didn’t
sink, right?
I mean, I don’t care how bad the ark must have smelled with all
them animals in there.
Would you rather have been in the ark?
You better believe it.
Because Noah lived a righteous life and obeyed God, his life
was spared from the judgment.
He was there during the judgment, but his life
was spared.
The judgment was not poured out upon him.
And Jesus said, “All of this is how it’s gonna be just prior to
my second coming.
The righteous will still be here all the way up to my second
coming, but my judgment is not gonna be poured out upon them.”
Now, after mo–and there’s some–there’s many ways I could
go that direction, but we’re–I’m gonna stay right here
on the story here.
So after months upon the waters–obviously, the ark came
to rest.
I don’t know for sure where it is.
A lot of people think they found it.
I don’t know. But Noah waited.
The ark rest–they’re not floating anymore.
Now they’re resting on something.
Noah’s waiting, and he sends out a raven and then a dove.
You guys know the story.
The dove returns with an olive leaf and, of course, now life is
returning to the earth.
They waited a long time.
And when the dove did not return, Noah knew that the earth
was ready for them to depart from the ark.
Well, when Noah stepped onto dry ground, it’s been a long time
since he stepped on dry ground, Scripture tells us in Genesis
8:20, and Noah immediately built an altar unto the Lord.
It was his first act of worship.
And then God spoke again not in wrath but in a promise.
Genesis 9, verse 11 through 13 God said, “Neither shall all
flesh be cut off anymore by the waters of a flood, and I do set
my bow in a cloud,” a rainbow, “and it shall be for a token of
covenant between me and the earth.”
And the rainbow appeared after judgment, not before and–but I
want you to hear clearly, everyone.
The flood did not come without a warning.
Mercy came first to Noah and them, and time was given and
a way of escape was provided.
But because most people did not listen to the warnings and to
the prophet, they were not prepared and they didn’t make it
in the ark.
Jesus said it would be the same way just prior to his
Second Coming.
And so we wanna make sure that you have an opportunity to
be prepared.
Doug Norvell: The Roman government controlled the world,
so many people were looking for a different Messiah,
a rescuing Messiah.
Doug: Remember the story of the woman at the well.
“The woman saith unto him, ‘I know that Messiah cometh, which
is called Christ.’
And Jesus said unto her, ‘I that speak unto thee am He.'”
Jesus very clearly stated that he was God and that he was
the Messiah.
We’re even more blessed because we haven’t seen those things but
yet we believe.
When Jesus cried out, “My God, my God, why hast thou
forsaken me?”
he knew every one of these prophecies had to be fulfilled.
He said, “It is finished.”
