U.S. Army Won’t Punish Chaplain for Criticizing Biden Transgender Policy

U.S. Army chaplain Major Andrew Calvert received a formal reprimand following a January Facebook post which criticized transgendered individuals as “mentally unfit”. Following an appeal by Major Calvert, the Army has agreed not to issue a formal reprimand. Christian Headlines reports:
“We’re very happy for Chaplain Calvert and we commend the Army for making the right decision,” said Mike Berry, general counsel for First Liberty Institute. “No service member should ever be punished because of their religious beliefs.”
