  1. Richard says:

Who will be able to stand in the Tribulation?

  2. Karen says:

I was wondering if WWIII will happen before the Israel and Palestinian peace treaty is signed or after?

    • avandagriff says:

The Bible does not specifically address the timing of the war in regards to the peace treaty but we tend to believe that it will happen first. We are not certain as there is no scripture for this stance but it would make more sense for things to happen that way. God bless.

  3. mahadi mulrain says:

Could you explain Ezekiel 39:9- And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years. So if this is the same as Armageddon, Israel will be burning weapons for seven years?

    • Yes, the weapons and shields will burn for 7 years according to the Bible. It also states that people will learn war no more. So we see from scripture after the final battle, there will be no more war. God bless.

  4. Charles says:

Is this the Ezekiel 38, 39 War?

  5. Deward Bentley says:

Regarding Armageddon and Ezekiel 38,39. Armageddon is not mentioned in Ezekiel 38, 39. The armies from the north parts are come down against Israel to “take a spoil’. God intercepts them on the mountains of northern Israel. This army seems to consist of several different ethnic groups/bands of people. God sends confusion/delusion on these armies causing them to turn their weapons against each other. Plus God rains down “great hailstones”, fire and brimstone down on them and leaves only a sixth part of the original army alive to return back to the north parts. It seems that after God destroys the armies from the north parts that the nation of Israel goes about business as usual. They cleanse the land by burying the dead and gathering up the weapons which are use for fire for seven years. This does not seem to be the same event that is described in Rev. 19:11-21. Although in each event the fowls of the air are summoned to eat the flesh of the slain. In Ezekiel 39:17 the fowls and the beast of the earth are summoned whereas in Rev. 19:11-21 only the fowls are summoned. Joel 3:2 states that God will gather “all nations” down to the valley of Jehoshaphat. Bible scholars place this “valley of Jehoshaphat” as being the valley that runs alone the east side of Jerusalem between the city and mount Olive. The “all nations” are represented by the ten kings of Rev.17:12-14 who give their power and strength unto the beast and make war with the Lamb.
Could someone please comment with correcting and or supporting details.

    • Frank Anastos says:

Deward I totally agree with you. You have thoroughly explained Ezekiel 38 great job!! Mine was a abbreviated version. It is a terrible job but the Jews will need 7 months to cleanse the land. I do not think that Christ is coming to make the jews clean up the mess.

    • It’s clear that these wars end at the same event. Revelation 19:17-20 and Ezekiel 39:17-20 shows this to be true. The exact same details may not be found in these passages, but the same event certainly is. God also sends down hailstones at the battle of Armageddon, and we see this in Revelation 16. The army in Ezekiel does not cause controversy, because the army in Revelation is that of the one world government. So multiple nations will be a part of that. God bless.

      • Deward Bentley says:

Thanks DW – It seems I am lacking in “light” to be able to fully accept the statements regarding Rev. 19:17-20 and Exekiel 39:17-20. In Rev. 19 the beast and false prophet are taken and cast into the lake of fire and brimstone. Verse 21states that the remnant (the armies of the ten kings) were slain. There seems to be no suvivors of the armies of the ten kings in the event of Rev. l9. Whereas one sixth of the armies from the north parts are left alive. Regarding the hailstones of Rev. 16. These being part of the seventh vial seem to fall on men in general not just the armies of the ten kings. Does one conclude that the seven vials are poured out prior to Rev. 19? And does one conclude that the armies from the north parts are part of the armies of the ten kings? Please comment on the burning of the weapons for seven years. Is this seven years prior to the seven years trbulation, during the tribulation years or after Rev. 19.

        • avandagriff says:

Russia will definitely be a part of the armies of the Antichrist, however, everyone in Russia will not be in the armies of the Antichrist. So the armies can be slain and a sixth of Russia can still exist. Daniel 7:12 shows us that these beasts, representing nations, will lose their dominion but continue on for a season and a time.

Revelation 16:2, and 10 show us that the vials are poured out on those who have the mark of the beast, the seat of the Antichrist, and his kingdom. These people will be the recipients of the vials of the wrath of God.

The vials of God’s wrath are poured out at the time of Armageddon. Revelation 19 is happening at the time of Armageddon.

The burning of the weapons for seven years appears to happen after Armageddon and span on into the millennium. God bless.

Was on another website, and it was saying that while the Pope was in W.D.C. in july of 2009 he had a private meeting with Obama, and was appointed as the Holy Roman Empire Emp., was woundering if you could confirm this as true, or if this is a false statment.

  7. Shannon Baham says:

Do you know if the middle east peace agreement has been signed?

    • avandagriff says:

It has not been signed at this time. We are seeing advancements toward the peace agreement but it has not happened yet.

  10. Concerned Christian says:

Been following your ministry for about 3 months now & have also been following politics & have noticed that the time is very near for a war, was wondering if this next war will be Armegeddon. A little confused because it doesn’t seem like the time is right now for this war but it seems like it is close.
In any case was wondering if there is another war like WWIII is this Armegeddon ?

    • avandagriff says:

We believe the next war to take place will be the 6th trumpet war of Revelation 9. This war occurs before the tribulation. As a result it is not the same war as Armageddon because Armageddon takes place at the end of the tribulation. If you have any other questions feel free to send an email to endtime@endtime.com. God bless.

  11. Phyllis King says:

    Hello,
I watch cnn news every day and I notice that there are certain countries are leading to war. Is this what the bible prophecies in the the book of Revelation? Do you think that there will be a war soon and if U.S will get involved?

    • avandagriff says:

It does appear that the war talks that we are hearing of now could very well be what the Bible is speaking of in Revelation 9:13-21. It would not be a surprise if the war started this year but it may not. All we know is that the war must happen before the start of the tribulation. When it does start though it is extremely likely that the United States will be involved. The United States has been involved in previous world wars and taking into consideration our military power, it is difficult to believe that we will have no participation in the coming war.

      • Albert says:

Why does it have to start before the Tribulation starts? Or do you mean the great tribulation?

        • avandagriff says:

There is no difference between the tribulation and the great tribulation. Those are two different names for the same event. The way that we know the 6th trumpet war starts before the tribulation is by following the progression of the trumpets in Revelation. The war takes place in Revelation 9. In Revelation 10 we find an angel standing with one foot on the land and on the sea declaring that time should be no longer. We find this same event back in Daniel 12 except we are given a time period of a time, times, and a half. This time period is 3 1/2 years and is used in reference to the tribulation. So the war happens in Revelation 9 and the tribulation begins in Revelation 10. This is why we see the outer court of the temple being trodden down of the Gentiles for 42 months, 3 1/2 years, at the beginning of Revelation 11.

          • nate says:

Is not the seven years called tribulation and second half is called great trib? Did not Daniel’s seventy sevens call it the troubles or tribulation time of Jacob? That means every seven year period during that time is tribulation, right? The last seven is still yet to come. The focus of that time is mostly the second half, which is call great trib. right?

          • avandagriff says:

I do not believe that there is enough proof to say that the 70 weeks were times of tribulation. Referring specifically to the final 7 years, there is no indication that the entire 7 years are tribulation. There is no difference between the terms, “tribulation” and “great tribulation” as both are used to depict the final 3 ½ years. In Matthew 24:21 we see the great tribulation begins. In Matthew 24:29 it is only referred to as tribulation. However both of these are referring to the same 3 ½ year period. Matthew 24:15-21 shows that the tribulation begins after the abomination of desolation. The abomination of desolation occurs in the midst or middle of the 7 years. That only leaves 3 ½ years for the tribulation. Daniel 7:25, Daniel 12:7, Revelation 11:1-2, Revelation 12:6, Revelation 12:14, and Revelation 13:5 all support a 3 1/2 year tribulation.
