Three Israeli children, parents suffer burns in West Bank firebombing attack

Palestinian terrorists hurled a Molotov cocktail at an Israeli vehicle traveling on Route 60 on Friday evening, causing burn injuries to five Israeli civilians: A four-year-old girl, an 11-year-old girl, a 44-year-old woman, a man whose age has yet to be determined, and a boy.

Magen David Adom paramedic evacuated the five victims to the Hadassah University Medical Center in Jerusalem’s Ein Kerem.

Paramedics said the four-year-old is in moderate condition, while the other girl, the boy, the man, and the woman suffered light wounds in the firebombing of their vehicle.

The car was traveling from Givat Asaf in the direction of Beit El, north of Ramallah in the central West Bank.

IDF units have launched a sweep of the area in search of the attackers.

Route 60 is a north-south highway that transverses the West Bank. The road has been the scene of many attacks on Israeli motorists in recent days and weeks.

On Thursday, Palestinians hurled a Molotov cocktail at an Israeli vehicle on Route 60. The firebomb was thrown from the direction of the old mosque in Huwwara, near Nablus, the army said. There were no injuries in the attack, through the vehicle sustained damage.

Also on Route 60, an Israeli vehicle was struck by rocks thrown from the direction of Al-Arroub between Hebron and Jerualem.  There were no injuries in that incident, but the vehicle sustained damage.
