Iran could build nukes in under a year

Iran has already reached the point of being a “nuclear threshold state” and has the capacity to build a bomb in less than a year, Strategic and Intelligence Affairs Minister Yuval Steinitz said on Monday.

 

Steinitz discussed Iran’s nuclear program at the annual Herzliya Conference hosted by the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya. Repeating a message advanced by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Steinitz urged world powers to demand that Iran dismantle its nuclear program as part of negotiations to lift international sanctions against Iran.
