Same sex marriage legalized, Texas clerks prepare licenses

Other factors include the software and budget needs,” she told News 8 in an e-mail. “We will need to make changes to the official state application as well as upgrading the electronic software. Preliminary conversations on both fronts have already begun, but there is not a confirmed timeline as of today.”Marriage licenses in Tarrant County say “husband” and “wife,” and must be changed electronically, Garcia added.
