Netanyahu due to be investigated again

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu may be investigated again by the Israel Police’s Lahav 443 Special Investigations Unit for Fraud. A date has yet to be coordinated, but those in the know expect it to take place within the next few days.

MK David Amsalem (Likud) responded to allegations during a Sunday interview on Army Radio, which claimed Hollywood billionaire Arnon Milchan—a co-owner of Channel 10—provided Netanyahu with illicit gifts whose worth amounted to hundreds of thousands of shekels. “Who’s to say (Milchan) isn’t lying? He’s a 75-year-old billionaire. What, did Netanyahu put a gun to his head? You can see for yourself that something impure is happening here.”
