Iran’s Zarif leaves for Vienna

TEHRAN, Iran –  Iran’s official IRNA news agency is reporting the country’s foreign minister has left for Vienna to join nuclear talks with world powers.

The Tuesday report said Ali Akbar Salehi, head of Iran’s atomic agency, and Hossein Fereidoun, the special adviser to President Hassan Rouhani, have accompanied Mohammad Javad Zarif.

The report said the participation of Salehi in the talks indicates Iran’s serious desire to accelerate the talks and achieve a comprehensive deal.
