Americans have a big stake in whether the referendum results in a Brexit, as President Obama made clear when he flew to London last month and weighed in heavily in favor of continued British membership in the union. The fallout from a Brexit would range from a hit in financial markets and chronic economic uncertainty to a further weakening of the already-wobbly trans-Atlantic alliance.
