The Promised Land

Four thousand years ago, God made a covenant with Abraham. He promised Abraham that all the land from the river of Egypt in the south to the river Euphrates in the north would belong to Abraham and his descendants after him. This land that God promised to Abraham is known as the Promised Land today.

God’s promise to Abraham about this land is presently the number one dispute among nations of the world. The United Nations, the European Union and many in the United States say that Israel cannot have the land God promised to her, and they are pressuring Israel to divide the land, giving part of it to the Palestinians.

The Bible prophesies that conflict over this land will eventually lead to the world’s final battle—the battle of Armageddon. It’s obvious that the Seeds of the Battle of Armageddon have already been sown!
