Jesus said, When you see these things, then know this generation shall not pass until all things be fulfilled. What things was Jesus talking about, and are we seeing those things right now?

  2. Hi Stephanie!

    Yes, God leads each of us to where He directs. For me, God led me to The Shepherds Chapel . They are men of God, and not false preachers.. and provide tools for proof and study and gave common sense to discern and rightly divide the Word. We are to listen to God’s Word, not traditions of man.
    We are not in disagreement.
    What I was saying, is that on judgement day, we are judged individually. We cannot say that some pastor taught me that. We each are each responsible to show ourselves approved, and our pastor is not going to be standing beside us to take the blame for our decisions. We are each accountable for ourselves.
    Have a great day!

    Hey Bonnie, Hope all is well!

    True in what you stated.. everyone needs to do their “homework”, however, in the bible God gave gifts of Pastors and teachers to help guide and teach us. You have to do homework for yourself to ensure that the doctrine (teaching) that is being preach or taught is in line with the word of God but not so much that its every man for himself (if that makes sense). Listening to a pastor preach, making notes (usually tons of scripture is given) go home- study on that word for yourself- pray on the word. I do believe in preaching and teaching…. there are many many scriptures about teaching… preaching… (only list a few here)
    Heard a wonderful man of God preaching on this subject last night about doing your homework and not just stopping on what “man” says however when Peter preached in the book of Acts and taught the people- they listened to Peter preach and was submissive to what he had told them.
    Why? Because he was a man of God. Follower of Jesus. Good thing they did too!! ๐Ÿ™‚
    If you have time give this video a watch. Not very long but so good.

    2 Timothy 3:16
    16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,

    Matthew 28:19-20
    King James Version
    19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

    20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

    Ephesians 4:11-16
    King James Version
    11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
    12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
    13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
    14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
    15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
    16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

    In love and in peace,

    Thank you for the references on youtube and study bible. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Hello Stephanie – I never mean to offend anyone but please consider the following. You mentioned 2 Timothy 3:16,”All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” That also applies to the following – you mentioned Matthew 28:19 which is one of the most important and misunderstood scriptures in the New Testament. Jesus said “Go therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” What He is actually meaning is the following – “Go therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in name (SINGULAR name) OF the Father, and OF the Son, and OF the Holy Ghost.” Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are titles and not names. Jesus disciples never used the words Father, Son, and Holy Ghost when they baptized anyone in water, nor did they use those words in one sentence regarding any other topic. Every time Jesus disciples baptized anyone in water they said Jesus name at baptism which is Acts 2:38, Acts 8:14-18, Acts 8:38, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, Acts 16:15, Acts 16:33, Acts 18:7, Acts 18:18, Acts 19:3-5, and Acts 22:16 – which proves what Jesus meant in Matthew 28:19. That also proves the name of the Father is Jesus, the name of the Son in Jesus, and the name of the Holy Ghost/Holy Spirit is Jesus and is one of many scriptures that proves there is no such thing as the Trinity. In addition to what Peter said in Acts 2:38, Peter said in Acts 4:2,”Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is none other NAME under heaven given among men whereby we must be SAVED.” Peter also said 1 Peter 3:21,”The like figure where unto even BAPTISM DOES ALSO NOW SAVE US….” It does so because it remits sin – meaning the INITIAL remission of sins and not the confessing of sins later addressed in 1 John 1:9.
      Regarding the Trinity – Irvin Baxter has an excellent 51 minute DVD that proves the doctrine of the Trinity is the vocal point of false Christianity.

      Thank you Dave .
      I am apostolic as well and I wholeheartedly believe in what you said. *Oneness* I was just merely posting scriptures that referenced “teaching” not about trinity.
      Thank you for the information. ๐Ÿ™‚

      • And thank you Stephanie for the kind words and thank you for that information! I don’t have one of those little Smilies on my Computer to give you but I can give you a few of these….:)….:)…..:)

  4. On youtube, type in : the shepherds chapel the book of Revelation

    They have available the tools to take the words back to the original Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic meanings so there is little room for misinterpretation so everyone can read it for themselves and not go by what “man” says but by what God says.
    Every book of the Bible is gone through chapter by chapter, verse by verse.
    Everyone has to make up their own mind what is Truth.
    The Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance E. Bullinger , companion Bible are good sources to help people.

      Based on what the scripture is talking about, I would have to say no. It appears the scripture is giving a prophetic stock market report. So, we still believe this is the Spirit of Democracy.
      Revelation 6:5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
