The Church After Revelation 4:1

Some teachers, believe Revelation chapters 2 and 3 are referring to seven church ages, and have taught that, “…after the last church, John was immediately seen in Heaven, symbolic of a pre-tribulation rapture, because the church is not mentioned again after Revelation 4:1.” On today’s edition of End of the Age, I am going to show you where the church is mentioned 16 times, after Revelation 4:1!

Revelation 1:19 Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter.

This is the structure of the book of Revelation. John wrote the things which thou hast seen in chapter 1, the things that are (meaning in John’s present day) in chapter 2-3. And then the things which shall be here after chapter 4-22.
Revelation 3:10 is a letter to a church that existed in John’s day, the Church of Philadelphia.
Revelation 4: After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

There is no pre-trib rapture. Read 2 Thess 2:3-4. It plainly states that the rapture will not happen until the antichrist sits in the temple and declares himself to be God. In Daniel 9:27, it clearly states that the antichrist will sit in the temple (the abomination of desolation) in the middle of the final 7 years. The rapture can occur anywhere between the last 3.5 years and the start of the millennium (end of the final 7 years). I personally believe in pre-wrath, but it could very well be at the end of the tribulation. It is definitely not before the tribulation.

Revelation 12:6 tells us that Israel will be protected from the antichrist for 1260 days (3.5 years). If God will protect Israel during that time, he can also protect his church. However, the Bible does say that antichrist will wear out the saints and many will be beheaded for refusing to take the mark. This is to purify the church. Some will be protected and some will be tested.
