Is the United States Mentioned in the Bible?

Many well known prophecy teachers claim the United States is not mentioned in the Bible. Is that true? Without the understanding of this foundational prophecy, it is impossible to interpret portions of Revelation 12, 13, and 17.

  1. The following is some Scriptures about helping others:
Jesus said in Matthew 25:35-40, “For I was hungry and you gave me meat, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you took me in. 36 Naked, and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came unto me. 37 Then shall the righteous answer him saying, Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed thee? Or thirsty and gave you drink? 38 When did we see you as a stranger and then took you in? Or naked and then clothed you? 39 Or when did we see you sick, or in prison and came to you? 40 And the King (Jesus) shall answer and say unto you, Verily I say unto you, in as much as you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me.”
1 John 3:17, “But he that has this worlds goods and sees his brother in need, and closes his heart of compassion from him, how dwells the love of God in him?”

Proverbs 19:17, “Whomsoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will repay him for his deed.”

Proverbs 21:13, “Whoever stops his ears to the cries of the poor, he shall cry himself, and not be heard.”

Paul said in Philippians 2:4, “Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.”

Paul said in Romans 15:1, “We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.”

Paul said in Galatians 6:2,“Bear one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ.”

Jesus said in Luke 6:18, “Give and it shall be given unto you, good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give unto you. For the same measure that you give to others, shall be given unto you again.”

Paul said in Hebrews 13:2,”Do not neglect to help strangers, for thereby some have entertained angles unawares.”

  2. Exodus 19:4

“Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself.”
The Eagle does not necessarily mean it united states.

I can’t speak for what they believe about those books, I have never talked to them about the subject. Perhaps, you would like to call into the show on Friday and ask Pastor Baxter for yourself. 1-877-363-8463

          • Thank you for your feedback and I will consider calling in… I am just looking for other opinions on the matter as I am still studying and deciding whether I believe some of the books or all listed in the KJV apocrypha are canon or not myself.
