Arab Minister Willing to Join Moderate Left-Wing Government in Israel

Ayman Odeh, an Arab Minister in the Israeli Knesset, has announced he would be willing to join a moderate left-wing Israeli government. The inclusion of the Arab block could give the Blue and White Party the 61 votes it needs to establish a governing coalition after Israel’s elections on September 17th. This would give the Arabs unprecedented power in the Israeli government and lend new impetus to a Middle East peace agreement.
