Will the Two Witnesses Be Enoch and Elijah?

QUESTION: Jeff from Arkansas asks, are the two witnesses, prophesied in the book of Revelation, Enoch and Elijah?

ANSWER: In my opinion, they are not. Here’s why… they would have to have lived on in mortal bodies because to have people come back from three or four thousand years ago, they would have to be immortal or else they couldn’t be killed as the scripture prophesies. So I do not believe it’s going to literally be Enoch, Elijah, or Moses.
