Who was Jesus praying to When He was on the Cross?

By Irvin Baxter

Question: Jim from Indiana asks Irvin who Jesus was praying to when He was on the cross?

Answer: There are two views on this: One is that it was one god praying to another god and this is a view that cannot be embraced because that says that we have two gods. The second view is that Jesus was man and God when He came to the earth. He had flesh and He had the Spirit that created this whole world. Well, just as we are flesh and Spirit and we wrestle against ourselves when the flesh wants to do one thing and the spirit wants to do the other, so was it with Jesus on the cross. Jesus (God), was speaking to His Spirit to overcome what the flesh was going through.

  1. The Trib. could not start in 2018. Ezekiel 38 & 39 has not happened and the Isralies will burn the weapons of the enemies for 7 years, which with all the judgements of Revelation and the fact that the last 3 1/2 years the many will be protected: The Lord shuttles them to a place of protection for the last 3 1/2 years. of course, these are the Christians and the ones that became a Christian with the witnessing of the 144,000 Jews that God supernaturally protects . This is the 1st invasion of Israel by Russia … The other will be in the Tribulation during the first three and one half years. ….. an aside, how do I get your answer?
