Will Israel Profit by Building a new Tabernacle?

Question: Joseph from Florida calling to ask Irvin if it would be profitable for Israel to reassemble the tabernacle and use that as the Western Wall for the time being?

 

Answer: There is a group that has actually built a tabernacle in Jericho; however it is not officially recognized. But that is not necessarily what the Jewish people are looking for. The battle is very much on for the Temple Mount and they already have a law on the table to place the Temple Mount into a sharing arrangement. Their focus at the moment is not to build a tabernacle but I think that there are powers that are bent on going ahead and having an area where the Temple Mount will be under Jewish control so that they can simply worship there.
