The first resurrection is described in Revelation 20:4-6. Verse 4 begins, “And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

As we move now into verse 14 of Revelation 14, we are going to look at the two harvests. We will spend some time here because the Bible teaches very extensively about the two harvests that are found in Revelation 14.

The majority of the Evangelical Movement has taught of a pretribulation rapture; however, you cannot read Matthew 24 carefully without concluding that Jesus Christ placed the rapture immediately after the tribulation of those days. If this is not true, you would have to believe that there are two raptures.
When is the rapture?
Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed —in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (1 Corinthians 15:51-52) [NKJV]
