The Bible prophesies a time when individuals will not be able to buy or sell unless they take the ‘mark of the beast.’ Between now and May of 2008, Americans will receive national ID cards without which we will be unable to hold a job or open a bank account. If we cannot hold a job or have a bank account, how much buying or selling will we be able to do? The question has to be asked: “Will the National ID card—which will be implemented over the next two years—be the mark of the beast?”
