Who is the Dragon in Revelation?

Daniel 7 reveals certain beasts represent nation such as the lion being Great Britain and the bear being Russia.  When we transition to the book of Revelation we find a lot of involvement from the dragon.  Many people jump to the conclusion that the dragon must represent China; however, Revelation specifically identifies the dragon for us.  Revelation 12:9 and Revelation 20:2 tell us the dragon is that old serpent, the devil, and Satan.  The dragon is not a nation in Revelation but rather the dragon is Satan.
