Daniel 2 shows us the statue which teaches us that the Holy Roman Empire will be the final world government. The Antichrist will come out of this.
Daniel 7 tells us that the Antichrist will have a mouth speaking great words. The Antichrist is going to be an eloquent speaker and will create an impact with his words.It also tells us that he will be more stout than his fellows. So even his appearance will distinguish him. He will come up among ten kings and uproot three of them.
We have more details given in Daniel 8.
And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand. (Daniel 8:23-25 KJV)

Earlier in this chapter it says he will cast the truth to the ground. He will not stand on Biblical principles and he will ridicule them.
Daniel 11 also tells us a lot about the Antichrist, who is the king of the north, but in particular it tells us that he will not regard the desire of women. Many have said this means he will be a homosexual or endorse homosexuality. However it does not say he will not desire women it says he won’t regard the desire of women. Women want to have children. So the Antichrist will probably support abortion and try to enforce laws that prevent women from having children.
Daniel 9:27 tells us something very key about the Antichrist. We learn that he shall confirm the covenant with many. This is referring to the covenant God made with Abraham in Genesis 15:18. So essentially the Antichrist will establish the borders of Israel and create a sharing arrangement on the Temple Mount. Keep in mind this will be a group effort but the Antichrist will be in that group.
Then in multiple passages we learn what happens 3 1/2 years later. The Antichrist will cause the animal sacrifices to cease and fulfill the abomination of desolation. This is when he will claim to be God and speak against God. This is when we will know without a shadow of a doubt who the Antichrist is.

May the peace and love of Jesus be with you all. One thing we know about the Anti-Christ is that he will try to change times and laws. Antiochus Epiphanes was definitely a type and even before he desecrated the temple, he had his regime plunder the temple 2 yrs prior to the swine sacrifice according to 1Maccabees. We also know that the anti-christ will offer land at a price. He won’t tolerate Christians who believe Jesus is the only way nor righteous Jews. One thing I believe personally is that the anti-christ will claim to have a lineage from both Israel and the Arab nations. This will be the key for him to broker a peace treaty. The Bible gives us an example of a man who blasphemed the name of God (which anti-christ will do) and Moses and the congregation ended up stoning him. What is interesting is that this blasphemer had a father who was Egyptian and a mother whose father came from the tribe of Dan (one of the 12 tribes of Israel). Don’t be surprised to hear the anti-christ make a similar claim.

I believe that the saints will be gone when the full force of the Antichrist is on the scene. But those who are left behind, many will come to God and be saved those are the saints that are going to go though the tribulation period. Because they will have a choice to take the mark of the beast or die. Not everybody will have the mark. Rev 13:15 He was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that it could speak and cause all who REFUSED to worship the image to be killed.
I don,t know if anyone has ever considered this, but in saying that those so called left behind have an option to recieve the mark or die, is basically saying there is a third way to be saved. The bible says Jesus is the only way, that is being born-again of the water and of the spirit as it says in acts 2:38. So if the rapture happens pre- trib the holyghost is not here anymore. So by suggesting accepting the mark or die is saying there is a third way. I have not heard anyone touch the subject that way before, please give me some feedback.
I know that many people have this belief but there are a couple of passages that cause me to believe otherwise. 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 tells us that the second coming and the rapture will not occur until there is a falling away first and the man of sin is revealed. Also Revelation 20:4-6 shows these people who died for not taking the mark of the beast being in the first resurrection. If they are in the first and obviously went through the tribulation, I cannot scripturally justify a resurrection of the church before this one.

To respond to bro.ed: It appears that you believe in a pre-tribulational “catching away”. Please read what Jesus said in Matt. 24:27-31. He, of course, is our final authority on His coming in the clouds for His Bride, who must be made white without spot nor blemish (thru trials and tribulation). The Great Tribulation begins after the first 3 1/2 years….the first 3 1/2 years will be troubles and tribulation for the whole world but especially for the Church, but after that the Church is caught up to meet the Lord in the air (for the marriage supper with the Lamb) all hell will be unleashed here on earth. I don’t believe the Church will be here when that begins to happen.
I have a question concerning the woman that sits on the scarlet beast. The scripture says that many names of blasphemy are written on her and or the scarlet beast. Can you identify them? I am so thankful for the informative video. I saw an interview of Billy Graham. He was asked if there was anything he wished he would have done differently in his life. He said he wished he would have spent more time in prayer and reading the Bible. There is just so much information out there and so many different opinions about the end time. It’s good to look at all of it. We really need to keep our eyes on God and His Word.

greater love than we can possibly understand will deliver us out of the temptation that will fall upon all the
earth in an event called the rapture. I see no real purpose in God allowing His children to go through the
tribulation but I do see His great love in deliverance out of it therefore knowing who the anti-christ is will be
of no consequence to the believer.

I feel like right now the american people of all sorts have some hope for our future despite what we as established christians believe our only real hope lyes in christ. im not trying to badger the american president but god has preplaced his spirit in some of us who would receive it to protect us and warn others also. that very day of the last presidential election I had actually lost my job to vote against mr obama.the reason being I worked and lived 2 and a half hours from my voting area. it wasnt because he is black but my spirit picked up a vibe,a scheme by the powers that run the outcome. i just wanted to say i did it,i was accounted for but unfortunately I arrived too late. im not pointing my finger and saying pr.obama is this man of perdition but he lines right up so far more than anyone before if you look at him,see what he stands for and where hes originally from. closing I will say this brothers and sisters in christ if he wins against Gov. I felt doom and despondency with Bush, and probably had the worst time emotianally during his presidency.
I think we need to be careful to distinguish our biases from what the Word of God is telling us. It is strange to me that you would feel more akin with Romney, who believes Jesus is just a prophet, than Obama, who sais that he believes Jesus is the Son of God.
I listened to “Who is the man of Sin” and in this broadcast they mention that the antichrist is going to come from the Holy Roman Empire and he refered to Europe. I don’t think you should rule out the EASTERN Roman Empire. On another website they have this posted……..

His resemblance to a leopard, a bear, and a lion refer to the first three beasts in the vision of Daniel 7 (representing the empires of Babylon, Medo-Persia, and Greece). This Beast includes the people and cultures of the three previous empires, and is an outgrowth of the Roman Empire itself.
The description of the Beast connects it closely both to the dragon (Satan, 12:3) and to the fourth beast of Daniel 7 (the Roman Empire, Dan. 7:7, 23), though his actions show him to be somewhat distinct from both. (The horns and heads are identified in Chapter 17).
As the first scripture indicated a beast with seven heads, the other two, earlier empires was Syria and Egypt. To make the next scripture easy to understand, I will name the 6 again. They are Syria, Egypt, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece and Rome. These are the 6 empires of the past.
If I had to guess where is is going to come from it will be TURKEY.

The Beast symbols are clearly given in Chp 8 of Daniel for Media Persia, and Greece. They are a Ram And Rough Goat. It has been widely accepted for years that the beasts in Daniel 7 are symbolic of Babylon, or even other nations. However given in chp 7 we find information of who the first three beasts will be, [Dan 7:15 I Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me.
Dan 7:16 I came near unto one of them that stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things.
Dan 7:17 These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.
Dan 7:18 But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.
They are kingdoms set in the future from Daniels time. All of the beasts mentioned in Daniel 7 will be in power at the time of the return of our Lord. And each beast has symbology that is clearly seen today.
What is the role of the false prophet during this time?
The False Prophet will be the religious world leader working with the political world leader the Antichrist. The False Prophet will cause many people to follow the Antichrist. The Antichrist and False Prophet will be a team in a sense.
I believe the false prophet is already here. Could be the new pope.
Genesis 3:6 says the desire of women will be for their husbands. I believe the Man of Sin will disregard traditional marriage.
