More vending machines are going cashless

Vending machine provider American Food & Vending announced plans to partner with payments technology firm PayRange to enable contactless payments on vending machines in US markets following two pilot programs that exceeded expectations.

 

In order to accept cashless payments, the machines will be fitted with PayRange’s BluKey dongle, which in turn allows users to make purchases via the PayRange mobile app. That app can be funded in a number of ways, including credit and debit cards and major mobile wallets.
