Q. Is the fourth head on the leopard, mentioned in Daniel 7, Angela Merkel of Germany? – Myrna
Each beast in Daniel 7 represents a nation or Kingdom. Multiple heads on a beast represent the number of times that nation will rise and fall (Revelation 17:10). Consequently, the four heads on the leopard represent four German Reichs (Empires).
Q. I have heard that Endtime Ministries does not believe in Preterism. Why? – Justin
Preterism is the belief that all of the events recorded in the Book of Revelation were fulfilled in 70AD. These are a few of the many reasons why that is not possible.
Revelation 16:12 states that the Euphrates River will be dried up to make way for the kings of the east to invade Israel at the Battle of Armageddon…But Jerusalem was destroyed by Rome in 70 AD, which is due west of Jerusalem.
Q. Do you believe that Christians will be killed during the tribulation? – Rob
Yes. There are several scriptures (Daniel 7:21, Revelation 13:7 and Revelation 20:4) absolutely proving that there will be Christians persecuted during the tribulation.
Q. I recently read that you teach the pale horse in Revelation 6:8 should have been translated green and that it represents Islam. However, my King James Bible says pale. How do you explain that? – Pat
John wrote the Book of Revelation in Greek and the original word used the color of this horse was “chloros”, which is green. Revelation 6:1-8 is a prophecy of four horsemen which represent the four dominant spirits (Zechariah 6:1-8) that will influence the earth at the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. (1) White Horse = Catholicism (2) Red Horse = Communism (3) Black Horse = Capitalism (4) Green Horse = Islamism
Q. What does the word “wormwood” mean in Revelation 8:11? – Jaki
Revelation 8:10-11 (written two thousand years ago) describes the events that will occur at the sounding of the third trumpet. Since Chernobyl is the Russian word for wormwood, we know that John actually prophesied the Chernobyl (wormwood) nuclear accident that occurred in 1986, which was the third trumpet.
